A fabulous dining experience again at Goodnight's! It was all perfect. The Valentine's Day menu offered a day early was wonderful and allowed us to avoid us the rush of the actual day. The service was attentive but not overly attentive. We never felt rushed. The food was spectacular - perfectly cooked and seasoned with each course being better than the one before! We had leftovers which we will enjoy for the next day. We will return!
Very expensive food for normal quality. Not exciting. Very basic service, no amuse bouche, nothing special just an obnoxious waitress coming every 15 minutes to asking if everything is okay
Everyone was so nice. Hostess, manager, chef, bartender, waitress, and all the other waitstaff. Food was delicious and beautiful at the same time. Cocktails were delicious. I wish I could give 10 stars for how well we were treated. I hope to go back again.

The food was absolutely outstanding. Parkerhouse rolls, wedge salad, filet mignon, brussel sprouts and fries. Very dish was amazing, steaks cooked to perfection. We had a fantastic time and the food was just superb. Service was super friendly and attentive. loved it.
Crab cakes were very good. Entrees were cold/ room temp. My husband's ribeye was mediocre. My beef filet was full of sinew and the cut was terrible. It was beyond rare. The sides came in skillets Brussel sprouts, and loaded potato puree. I would expect them to be hot but they weren't even warm. We ordered their apple skillet which was also cold. The service was good, decore was beautiful, and the drinks were good. Definitely not the Wow factor you would expect for a $430 dollar dinner before tip.

My family and I enjoyed the Wednesday night fried chicken dinner which was absolutely delicious, and a fantastic value. If you like martinis, Ashleigh (sp) make the most delicious ones I have ever had.
We enjoyed a wonderful dinner, with outstanding service, at Goodnight's last weekend. Fresh local oysters, an amazing table side Caesar salad, two perfectly prepared steaks, and a delightful apple crumble were beautifully presented by a team of friendly, highly skilled and thoughtful servers. We will definitely return. Expensive, but well worth it for an elegant date night.
Goodnight's absolutely exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. Chef David was incredible, offering personalized attention to our order that made the entire experience feel thoughtful and special. Our server was equally amazing, attentive without ever being intrusive, and genuinely warm throughout the evening. What truly set this night apart was how the team celebrated my husband's birthday. The extra touches, including a keepsake souvenir and a hand-signed birthday card from the entire staff, were beyond thoughtful and deeply appreciated. The Sunday birthday celebration with all the fixings was truly the cherry on top and made the night unforgettable. And the food? Simply exceptional. Every dish was beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and easily on par with a 5+ star experience. This is a must-go restaurant, and we cannot wait to return. Highly, highly recommended.
We always bring our out of town guests here. Best steaks ever, hands down. Their rolls are also a must.Technique is obvious in every bite. You can feel the leadership in the kitchen. Everything is always seamless. My husband always orders a flight of salt for everyone (to see which one they prefer) We recommend making a reservation. We always get a lovely card signed by staff with a metal horseshoe. It's a little out of our way (coming from San Francisco or Hidden Valley Lake) but worth the beautiful drive.

Very nice place, great service and mostly quiet atmosphere. Pricing is $$$$$, so it should be like that. I don't give Food and Service the 5 stars for the following reasons. The mushrooms are highly battered so that you will have trouble to find the mushrooms in the batter. The dish should be called Batter with a mushroom flavor. A mandatory tip of 20% was added to the bill, which I first did not notice (it is a little dark in there), but waiters should make the customers aware of it (perhaps by circling it), even that it is stated on the Menu in fine print. The 20% is added to a party of 6+ people (most restaurants start with 8+). But all in all a good dining experience.

Went there for our 2 year dating anniversary. From the moment we walked in the door it was about us. We were made to feel special and that felt good.
The food was out of this world delicious. Each course came at the right pace as to not overwhelm us. Our main course couldn't have been more perfect.
Although we can't afford to go more often, we will definitely be back when we can.
Tableside Caeser was very good and then four of shared the large porterhouse with yukon gold potato puree very good. Finished with tableside smores.
