I’ve done several wine testing in the area, however the Hafner Vineyard was the most amazing of all we visited.
We enjoyed the exquisite wines and the insightful tour. The personal touch from the Hafner family made our visit special and welcoming. I highly recommend this winery for a memorable wine tasting experience!!!

Great family story is shared so you can appreciate what the Hafner family has done and is doing to make great boutique wines. We really enjoyed our time there to tour and taste wines along the way.

Hafner is indeed a wonderful tasting experience in the Alexander Valley. As a visitor, you are treated to detailed descriptions of their winemaking process, a loving marriage of French and American methods. Hafner is family owned and operated. Their hard work, pride and love for what they do is hugely apparent as you gaze out on the gorgeous 100 acre vineyard and taste their exceptional Chardonnay and Cabernet Savingnon in the very beautiful cave.

This is a lovely vineyard. Just the type of experience we are looking for. Very personal and intimate. I almost hate posting a review for fear MORE people will “discover” this gem (LOL). But Sarah and Kate are so engaging and friendly, and the experience enriching, I can’t be selfish. Sarah’s sharing the history of the family, the winery, and the region in general was interesting and the wine tasting was educational. I learned a few new things. And the wines are fantastic.
