Hafner is a hidden gem. No formal tasting room. You get a winery and cave tour offered by a member of the Hafner family. Great family story is shared so you can appreciate what the Hafner family has done and is doing to make great boutique wines. We really enjoyed our time there to tour and taste wines along the way.
Hafner is indeed a wonderful tasting experience in the Alexander Valley. As a visitor, you are treated to detailed descriptions of their winemaking process, a loving marriage of French and American methods. Hafner is family owned and operated. Their hard work, pride and love for what they do is hugely apparent as you gaze out on the gorgeous 100 acre vineyard and taste their exceptional Chardonnay and Cabernet Savingnon in the very beautiful cave.
