Ok if the wines are extraordinary, Rob is even more! Charismatic and so easy to understand through his presentation. Came here with our son and daughter in law as their first visit to Sonoma and they loved it! The Pinots are amazing and the Chardonnay is outstanding ?. Hope you visit them!

Such a great story behind this winery, and just the most delicious lovingly made terroir driven wine. A real treat.

Situated inside a hub of sorts of wineries and wine bars in Healdsburg, Hirsch Vineyards tasting room was one of the best tasting I've had in Sonoma, of the numerous visits here. Our host, Randy, was very hospitable and knowledgeable about the wines. The wines themselves were of course amazing. We were served a chardonnay and 4 different pinot noirs, all from the venerated Hirsch Vineyard in Fort Ross. What a treat!

Were planning a trip to Healdsburg to visit another winery and found Hirsch while looking through google for others in the area. I had a lot of scheduling questions prior to our visit and Lindley was so patient and responsive to my many emails. The tastings at Hirsch are truly personal- in that you are the ONLY group (there was only two of us) tasting. Our tasting was with Randy and he was so informative about the wine, wine making, soil, etc. They have a huge map of the actual vineyard in the tasting room so you can see where each of the different grapes are grown and they even have soil samples from the different areas to see how that also impacts the flavor of the wine. We started the tasting with the Estate Chardonnay. Neither my husband or I are usually fans of chardonnay but we both liked this one enough to take a bottle home with us. We also tasted the 2018 East Ridge Pinot Noir, the 2019 San Andreas Fault Pinot, the Reserve Estate Pinot and the Block Eight Pinot. Our favorites were the San Andreas and the Block Eight. With so many wineries in the area focusing on Cabernet it was nice to try so many different Pinots and see how the growing region influenced the taste so much. Would definitely recommend for a personalized experience.

Although this is a small tasting room in a small shopping/ office center, we really enjoyed our testing with Leigh. Although a small selection Hirsch is best known for their pinot noirs from the Sonoma Coast. Indeed the wines were delicious and for any fans of pinot noir would definitely make sure to try this vineyards offerings. Highly rated by Wine Enthusiast and well deserved.

Not worth the $75 tasting fee. Located in a small room, you face a white wall, with a small office/supply closet open during our tasting. The wine is good and hosts were knowledgeable, but terrible overall experience. They need to update their Healdsberg tasting experience!
