Had booked a tasting for a sparkling flight and varietals flight. Ended up adding the cheese pairing. Brendan was a.ma.zingggggggg. Talk about a wealth of knowledge, super personable and had some great one-liners that had us cracking up. The wines were great, and while I was skeptical about some of the cheeses-it was pleasantly surprising and really delicious

Yesterday we had an amazing time at J’s. Izzy Diaz greeted us right away and seated us at a beautiful table. Next Brendan came over to greet us and give us our first taste of some amazing champagne. These two gentlemen went way above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. I couldn’t thank them enough.

The 5 course paired tasting in the Bubble Room is an amazing experience. Every dish that Chef Forest Kellogg created was incredible and paired perfectly with the lovely J wines.

“Shifting the Lens” An amazing dining experience in the Bubble Room with meals prepared by guests chefs and perfectly paired with J’s wines. Starting outside in their beautiful patio for bubbles and appetizers you then work your way in to the main dining room. As always the chef’s come out and explain the cooking experience and philosophy.

This was place was absolutely amazing. They were accommodating, professional and extremely friendly. Izzy was an exceptional host, knowledgeable about the wines and made our experience an unforgettable one. We appreciate the time he spent with us telling us about every wine and how to make the best of the tasting and paring experience. The cheeses were DELICIOUS- highly recommend. We will definitely come back.

I always have an amazing experience at J Winery. The customer service is by far the best. They are aware, observant and courteous. The bubbles always taste great. The chef and guest chefs have a wide range of flavors that never disappoint. They are flexible with allergies. The atmosphere is relaxing and pleasant. I recommend this place to all my family and friends.

J Winery has been one of my favorite places in Sonoma for years, and I’ve proudly been a member for at least the last three. The wines are consistently excellent, but it’s the full experience that makes this place stand out.

The Bubble Room is truly exceptional—Chef Forest creates beautifully paired bites that turn a tasting into a full culinary journey. It’s a must if you’re visiting. The Legacy Lounge also deserves a mention—the cheese pairings there are thoughtful and delicious, and I’ve spent more than one solo afternoon enjoying them with a view.

The setting is gorgeous, the wine is top-notch, and the staff goes above and beyond. Casey, in particular, has made our last two visits especially memorable with warmth and impeccable service.

If you’re in Sonoma, J Winery should be on your list. And if you can, treat yourself to the Bubble Room experience. It’s unforgettable.

The food and wine pairing was amazing. We came in the first day of a new menu. We were simply blown away. Chef Kellogg has crafted an amazing menu. I have never had a food and wine menu pair so beautifully together, and work and harmony. Sincere accolades to the team here. My recommendation is to skip the Michelin guide restaurants in Healdsburg and go for the food and wine pairing at the wineries. J is our number one. The Kendall Jackson food and wine pairing is our number two. The Healdsburg Michelin guide restaurant tasting menus are tired, unimaginative, and incomplete comparison. Again, truly wonderful job from Chef Kellogg and team.

Love the wines!! But didn't appreciate the tight pours even being a member for years. Highly scrutinized pours and no offers for extra tastings, despite loyal service for many years. One staff member was not friendly and makes me consider canceling my membership, don’t feel valued.

Absolutely love this place. Never really been a wine club member but this place makes it so worth it. Tastings at the Bar, cheese and wine pairings, and the outstanding bubble room with wine and food pairings. Not only do they have great wine, but their sparking wine is outstanding. Who doesn’t love a little bubbly!! An absolute gem!

Amazing bubbly tasting, would def visit again to enjoy the nice tasting experience. The cheese plate is also worth getting. Wish they had a better model to waive tasting fees but all in all a must go if you like bubbles.

Rude Rude Rude!

My mother came here over 20 years ago and had an incredible experience, and insisted on coming back this Fall when we were in the area. We had another exceptional experience. Haley served us and is one of the best tasting room servers any of us has ever had. She was personable, knowledgeable and so passionate about the wines she was serving. Known for their sparklings and their Pinot Noirs, each one was better than the last (which I do not say lightly… usually there is at least one that is not great). Highly recommend for the quality of wine, beautiful ambiance and unpretentious passion for their product.

Had an incredible food and wine tasting experience in the Bubble Room. Wonderful service. Lovely atmosphere.
