Very unorganized winery. Sign said “walk ins welcome!”We arrived on a sunny day. All the outside tables were removed because of a chance of a “monsoon” the next day. Got on a waiting list for walk ins. Told we could order a bottle. By the time we were called ,we were told we could only buy by the glass. No problem. But then there was no where to sit. Told to go across the bridge on the property but found a private event going on. So we sat on a bench outside the door to drink our wine. Went back in to purchase a second glass. ( the first glass was a nice pour, the second pour was 1/2 the amount of the first pour , different server, same price)So, from the start of our visit, we were told different things. Even the staff was confused. One saying we could sit on the patio furniture outdoors but didn’t know the furniture had been removed. This was our last winery visit for the day and we all left unimpressed by the service. The Best employees were the 2 more mature ladies who greeted us and knew how to pour wine.

All their wines and bubbles are fantastic! We did a legacy tasting with cheese pairing and Izzy our server was informative and friendly. The chef made modifications to the cheese tasting based on our likes/dislikes. The atmosphere was comfortable and elegant. We had a great time and look forward to going back.

Chef Ana Castro food/wine tasting was amazing. Flavors were so unique and her charisma makes it so much fun.

I spent a weekend in the area recently and my group did 6 wine tastings, this was far and away our favorite tasting. Highly recommend the cheese pairing, it was a small bite but the pairing was delicious. Our host was knowledgeable and really brought the wine descriptions to life (this was also the only vineyard any of us purchased a wine club membership at, and our host was kind enough to waive our 5 tasting fees since we aren't local and can't enjoy the events that come with the membership). Also loved the heritage of a female head winemaker. Lovely garden ambiance, we enjoyed sitting outside. Would eagerly return next time I'm in the Sonoma area.

It is a great and beautiful property located in Healdsburg, CA, alongside the Russian River and Old Redwood Hwy. We had a great time tasting and selecting the wines/varietals we liked. J Wines are known for their sparkling wines using *Coquard presses that are rare and not usually used in most vineyards. The head wine maker is Nicole Hitchcock, who has made a name for herself in the Sonoma Valley. The wines are very well balanced and offer many aroma and taste profiles from sparkling, whites, and reds. Being it is located in the Russian River district, the pinots, chards, and sparkling are going to be fantastic. Also, as I mentioned in my many other reviews, the people are very friendly and are great at giving advice and with their expertise. *Sonoma way. Please visit and enjoy.

I had relatives visiting from Pennsylvania. One of them had had a Pinot at a restaurant in Pa. She asked about visiting the winery because she enjoyed the wine. We didn't have a reservation and showed up on a Friday afternoon in July. We were greeted by Bella and Donna. They were both very hospitable and friendly. Donna made an effort to accommodate us given their walk up tasting bar was quite busy. She offered us (minus me as designated driver) a taste of some sparkling wine which my guests and partner enjoyed. Although we didn't do a tasting they allowed my guests to order a glass of wine which we paid for. All in all it was a good experience. I think given the friendliness of Donna, Bella and the gentlemen pourer (whose name I didn't get) - we would definitely return and make an advanced reservation. Although we didn't go - it located next door to Rodney Strong - so could be a good spot for trying to tasting rooms within walking distance of each other.

The last winery of our weekend was @jwinery Bubbles and Pinots all day. The grounds are beautiful. We took our tasting outside. Which meant that we had to go inside every time we were ready for the next taste. For me this was a miss, the patio is gorgeous. The inside is nice but drinking wine outside is just better. I wish that there was organized tasting outside too.

Smooth and delicious wine. Nice ambiance, beautiful terrace. Our somelier was amazing. We were served rose at the beginning, some palate cleansers. The wine tasting ended with port, which was a very pleasant surprise.

Fantastic experience! We visited J Vineyards last weekend on a girl's trip (sisters and nieces). We sat outside in the beautiful courtyard surrounded by flowers and a lovely creek. Our host Izzy was perfect- charming, knowledgeable, fun and memorable. The wines were delicious, we ordered quite a few to take home. The indoor area was also lovely- classy with elegant finishes and a nice little shop. We visited several vineyards on this trip, and while all were very nice, J Vineyards was exceptional. Thanks for such a wonderful time.
