My group and I had an absolute blast doing a private tasting at Mauritson. Doug was a wealth of knowledge on all of the delicious wines we tasted. Truly there wasn't a single wine we would not happily drink again and again. Our standout favorites were the Rockpile Zinfandel, Maffei Zinfandel and the Rockpile Cabernet. We also had the good fortune to meet Emma, the winemaker, while we were there and we were blown away by the care and dedication that she puts into producing...
Doug was my host and he treated me like an old friend. When I looked closely at the wine list I noticed they had personalized it with my name printed in the same font as the menu, it wasn't added later, I was touched.
Outstanding wines and staff!! Mauritson was our favorite winery during our weekend visit to Healdsburg and Geyserville. The staff went above and beyond for us. I made a reservation in advance, they customized our tasting menu to welcome us and even added our pups name to it. They gave our dog a water bowl, and heart shaped biscuit treats—truly a dog friendly place!
