Had a wonderful experience at Merriam. From the moment we walked in, they greeted us with a glass of Chardonnay (which was wonderful). Our host, Henry, was so friendly and knowledgeable. The grounds were beautiful. We even got to meet a couple dogs at the property. I would highly recommend paying them a visit next time you're in Healdsburg!
There are a lot of wineries in the area, but Merriam Vineyards felt like a real gem. I reserved a Winery Tour for two, and it did not disappoint! We even even greeted with glasses of Chardonnay just moments after our arrival, and it only got better from there. My wife and I loved seeing the various dogs roaming around, the ambiance and beauty of the place, and just how friendly and warm everybody there was. We even had the opportunity for some barrel tastings, which I never had...

This was our first winery during a girls’ trip, and Merriam set the standards high! As we parked, one of the employees greeted all 8 of us with a glass of Chardonnay (which was delicious!). Bonus: winery dog Yogi welcomed us as we exited our van!
Our wine ambassador, Henry, was a delight, and taught us so much about Merriam Winery and their delicious wines! Henry was so friendly, and we enjoyed our afternoon with him.
