Visiting from Boston and came to Sonoma for the day. We came to Bacchus landing. Montagne Russe is the best winery we’ve been to. Kevin Bersofsky is the wine maker and makes the best wine. If you like white, if you like red, come to this place. You’ll learn a lot, drink phenomenal wine, and leave in a better mood than you came in with. Love this place!!

So much fun! Every wine was delicious and Kevin is the best! The experience was extremely personable and it seemed like the staff went out of their way to get to know us. You will feel like part of the family!

Stopped in to taste yesterday for the first time and boy am I glad we paid them a visit. Whitney was amazing at telling us about the wines and made us feel at home. Ended up getting a varietal 6 pack of the Pinots because I loved them so much! Will definitely be returning :-)

We stopped in to try their Chardonnay. We had their Chardonnay flight with a splash of their OG Garage Sav Blanc and Pinot. They are known for their Pinots. Our wine connoisseur was so personable. She made our visit relaxing and enjoyable. They have a vinyl collection that adds another layer of fun. Highly recommend a visit

Randomly found this amazing spot on the Sonoma County wine page and went in for a tasting where we lucked out because Kevin, the owner and winemaker, was there! He put on some records for us, talked about the geography of where the grapes comes from and the process. He was so friendly and helpful with suggestions of other places. And the wine!!!! It was sooo amazing. There was a lot of variety and it was great to talk to the winemaker about each one. Try the syrah....and all of the pinots!! Highly recommend and we will for sure be back!!

Easiest 5 stars I've ever given. This was our first winery of the weekend and it set the bar high. Whitney was our host and she took time explaining the intricacies of each wine we tasted and helped us figure out exactly what types of wines were our favorite! She also explained the roller coaster theme and several fun facts about the owner! Be sure to ask in case your host doesn't share them with you. This was also located in Bacchus Landing which houses several boutique wineries. It's a cute place with lots of outdoor spaces to hang out and drink your wine! Wine was delicious and we loved our experience!

This young winery produces several different varietals. All are excellent and reasonably priced. They have a beautiful new tasting room in Healdsburg, California. Put this on your "must see" list when you are traveling in the Sonoma wine country.

Fantastic wines especially Pinot Noir and Syrah. They are super dog friendly and have a nice patio to sit outside too. Bonus was a record player with some great 80s rock!

So impressed on the first visit. This spring release party was a let down. It was not crowded, plenty of spots to sit inside and out and room at the tasting bar. Several times I was waiting with bewildered others for the next tasting and the staff looked preoccupied and uninterested. Basically had to flag the person standing right in front of me down. Owner, Kevin, was one of them. He gave me a pour and not a mention of what he was pouring or any comment at all. plenttttty of wine! was promised and the pours were the minimum I have actually ever seen. The food spread looked marginal and we had bland cheeses (delicious rosemary crackers) and tried the days old dried out chocolate chip brownies. What a shame because while the wine is pretty good we will focus on other wineries where we feel welcome.

We love visiting Montagne Russe! Our first time visiting was actually last year for an Elite event at Bacchus Landing, a wine collective with multiple wonderful wineries, and we especially loved Montagne Russe that we got a wine membership! It was our second time visiting recently and the winery had such a cool event going on! They were doing an event called Pink & Paws and were serving wine, snacks, and had the cutest photo booth for puppies to stage at! When we arrived, we were greeted by Whitney, who has taken care of us previously. She's bubbly and energetic and made sure we were always taken care of the entire event, checking in with us regularly for refills and snacks. We also ran into Kevin, the winemaker, who was super friendly and welcomed us back. The winery has a focus on Syrah and Pinot Noir, but also has other styles of wine too. Many of their wines are very easy to drink, and the Syrah always surprises me with its drinkability. As mentioned, Montagne Russe is one of our favorite wineries in Sonoma. We can't wait to visit again soon!

Great hospitality, great wine, and great music (I picked it out and Kevin put it on the turntable). The less pretentious more cozy tasting room in the Bacchus Landing complex. We visited on a Food Truck Friday (highly recommended), and especially enjoyed the pinots. Visit the complex and make Montagne one of your stops.
