Of course one of the most important things to say is they have champurrado. The only peculiar thing is they make their pan dulce at 3pm and again at like 8. So for morning breakfast, you're more than likely getting yesterday's bread. Still not bad.

Good Mexican pastries but we come here during summer for the spicy BBQ chicken roasted and grilled right out in front. Follow your nose!

Love the Mexican bread here and they have smaller ones so you don't have to buy the big pieces. The cakes are also yummm

We stopped by after eating at Taqueria Guatalajara and, although full, we were drawn to the BBQ pit. Chickens were being BBQed and we tried a 2 pound bag. Best chicken I have ever had - smokey and perfectly cooked. We had it two nights in a row and I can't wait to go back and get some more. We were there on a Sunday so I don't know if they BBQ everyday and if they only do chicken. Worth a stop if you are in the area.

as a vegan, there was perhaps nothing here I could eat, but the smells wafting out of this joint were well worth stopping for; right next to a mexican restaurant and grocery. get yourself some.

The best pan dulce mexicano in all of the North Bay and definitely one of the two best that I've ever had in Northern California. This place is so nondescript, taking up a tiny corner of some mini-mall strip in Healdsburg, which you would never find unless you know the area, of course. And I don't know the area. But this was a true find. On Luis's aunt's recommendation, we made a point of stopping here on a visit to upper Sonoma County. The place was crowded. By the way, they sell other things beside bread here. There were all manner of Mexican products in a small space, from soap to other grocery-type items. The place is named after the Oaxacan coast, and I think the family that owns it is from there as well. They are very nice, and their service is friendly. Their style of bread-baking is similar to that of other panaderas from other parts of Mexico, with some minor twists here and there. It's self-serve, like most panaderas. If you are in the North Bay, visiting wineries, Healdsburg, Russian River, the geysers, casinos, etc... stop by this place.
