We went to Quail and Condor 3 times to make sure we tried everything and had a well rounded experience 😁
Items we thoroughly enjoyed:
Salmon lox toast: we ordered this 3 times! fresh and bright with a good balance of herbs, salmon, and spread
Cinnamon rolls: Perfect balance of frosting to roll. Frosting wasn't overly sweet
Chocolate cake: Moist and delicious
Kouign Amann: Incredibly layered and flaky
Items that were okay:
Gruyere, etc Quiche: this was very, very dense/think--almost like a cheesecake rather than a quiche. Maybe due to issues procuring eggs? But ideally would have more eggs 🤪
Cardamom Pistachio knot: we both couldn't taste either pistachio OR cardamom which was a bit of a letdown
If they could get those last two right it would absolutely be 5 stars!

So good! The Lox Toast was excellent and the super seed bread was to die for. I’d love the recipe.

This is a good bakery, but I can't give it five stars because I don't think these are the best croissants around. They just aren't worth 45 minutes of waiting in the cold (or heat if you come in the summer). I was excited to try the cardamom and pistachio croissant because that was a first in flavor combos. Sadly, after many bites, I only tasted a bit of cardamom in one or two bites. I didn't get any pistachio. The croissant gets points for flakiness, but its also missing some soft center breadish parts which make it feel like almost too much air. The sourdough bread loaf holds its own and I'd serve it with any meal or make a nice sandwich with it. Top marks there. For me the best croissants in the Bay Area are found at Arsicault in SF. In Sonoma I can find a better croissant at Sarmentine or Baker and Cook without the line.

Excellent pastries and bread at this award winning bakery. Come early or they will be sold out!
Big congrats for being in The NY Times top 22 bakeries of 2024! Well earned.
Love the pastries here and I miss having them in the Farmer's Market. It's not sanitary though to have the worker wear gloves and handle pastries and cash without changing gloves.

some of the most delicious pastries I have ever had!
4 stars for atmosphere because outside the parking lot it's not really a stop and eat type of place. Pastries are amazing!!

Can’t say how impressed I was with their pastries. The flake / lamination and buttery flavor on any of the croissant-based pastries (sesame morning bun, croissant variations) was superlative, best I’ve had anywhere. Awesome flavors, my favorite was probably the sesame morning bun should have bought more! Can’t wait to get back up this way.

Usually pastries very good. This morning I got an almond croissant with no almond. Was not good.

Popped in sunday afternoon. A female taking our order was far from friendly, welcoming, nor helpful. My family wanted to walk out. I wanted to give it a try because of prior good reviews. I ordered basic drinks. Espresso was decent. No reason to return. Lack of professionalism and fell short on quality customer service.

One of the best bakeries I have tried in recent times. Loved their croissants and onion parmesan flavored biscuits. Their cardamom pudding is absolutely delicious.

There will be a long lone but the pastries live up to the hype. We got the tomato toast, croissant, morning bun, and quiche. The tomatoes were some of the best I’ve ever had and went great with the ricotta. The croissant had amazing taste, texture, and layers! The morning bun was light and fluffy and a good level of sweetness. The quiche really blew me away with how fluffy it was and the savory flavour was great way to balance out the other pastries.
