Fantasticly unpretentious, Heather was a great host, the wine tasting was very relaxing. We will definitely be back.
We found this winery when driving by and decided to come back later in the day, and I'm so glad we did. We didn't have a reservation. Zack was an excellent host, and we were quickly seated and enjoying our tasting flight.
This winery has loads of rustic charm. Plenty of parking.
Was absolutely delighted with the hospitality and conversation from Mark during our visit. He made us feel right at home and created a memorable experience that stood out from the countless tastings at other wineries. We will absolutely be recommending Soda Rock to friends and will be returning in the future.
On the hell-hot 4th of July weekend, we escaped the inland heat and camped along the Russian River. On the way home, Sunday afternoon, we were tootling through the Alexander Valley, avoiding the traffic on I-80. We sped past this place thinking we’d stop at Alexander Valley Vineyards (we love their bold reds.) It was Lord Snout, the massive rusted steel boar sculpture that once adorrned the desert floor at Burning Man, that grabbed our attention, and then the old rustic barn tasting room. A quarter-mile down the road I wheeled the car around and we returned to Soda Rock winery. It was a wonderful spot. Good wine, and Zach, the tasting room manager was fantastic. Entertaining, personable, informative, and non-pretentious. Highly recommended.
The vineyards along the way in the valley are very beautiful ❤️A good place for slow wine tasting
Mark is the best. We drove past by and didn’t have reservations on a Sunday. Love the hospitality and the variety of wines we tasted.
Will def return!

This winery was burnt down in the wildfire so I had wanted to visit and support them. A casual cycling trip with friends offered the perfect opportunity to drop in. A little risky since I had never tasted their wine before and was going with friends who appreciated good wine. Since it was just a quick stop from our bike ride we didn't want the whole tasting experience. The sommelier was exceptionally helpful to cater for our tastes and time restraints. They have a nice selection of wine including several zinfandel wines that we prefer. The stop was a huge hit and a case of wine was purchased which they held until I could collect it with the car.Good wine, friendly service, lovely patio area, tasty wines and a place to visit again.
Informative tasting with Manny. A nice selection of wines. Manny made the experience better with his pertinent information on the current harvest, history, etc.The tasting room and patio are nicely set up. A great experience! Thanks Manny!
Great wine selection.
Fun winery, tastings in a rustic old barn, surrounded by vineyards. Great wines. I recommend their events with live music.
Great wine and really nice people. They are tasting out of their old barn which is shabby chic, but very comfy.
