My husband Michael and I met co-owner Doug in Cloverdale, and he invited us to come visit the tasting room owned by his wife, Crystalyn, founding partner, and him. We did so and were so warmly welcomed. Music by Adam was off the charts that day, and the wines delicious. We went again and met Doug’s son, Declan, who similarly was gracious and helped us join the wine club and learn about great area restaurants and theater. A truly family affair, and a casual tasting room where you can feel at home, sip wonderful small batch wines, and listen to great music. Highly recommend, as this place stands out in the crowd.

Would not recommend this place. I came here with a group of friends and we left feeling uncomfortable. The winemaker and his son were flirty with some of the group and rude to others. The wine was ok.

We had a great time during our visit with our wine club, but when I placed a wine order to be shipped, I never got a shipping confirmation or order confirmation. I reached out via phone and email. All calls only go to voicemail and they won’t respond via phone or email.

Such a splendid experience! Our host was magnificent, the presentation of the wines was spcied (!) up with stories for each wine, we even managed to watch the rehearsal of their murder mystery night of actors and people from the winery. The spiced wines were unique and right up our alley, the cheese board was totally excellent and the live music rounded up the experience. Such a great place! Congratulations to the owners!

I have been to Spicy Vines twice now and it is my favorite winery in the area. The wine is delicious and the staff is great. The atmosphere is laid back and inviting. I highly recommend visiting this winery if you are in the area.

1) Declan was a fantastic host and I LOVE how he described each wine. It was spot on. I loved every pour in the red flight, and got a pour of the Declan's Pinot after the flight. 2) The goat cheese and jam turkey panini was wonderful. And the side of chips was generous. Perfect little crunchy snack. The portion size was great for the price. 3) The live music was wonderful.
