I’m making a special trip from Illinois just to eat here. Gonna revolve our Vacation around the area. Looking forward to coming
The best way to eat here is bringing your own group and sitting at every seat. This makes for a nice and fun experience. However you eat here, it’s incredible.

You have to experience the wine tasting “wall”! After that, sit down and enjoy one of your best meals of the week. The food, spices and flavors were all very distinctive and memorable. On another night, go have a cocktail and appetizers on the roof top bar. The Matheson has done everything right
The service was amazing, it was our anniversary and the staff gave us a signed card. But the food was just not worth it to me. We had their special the bone in which cost a whopping $95 it came out already sliced and dried out by the end of the meal. My wife had the rabbit pasta very salty. We had a lemon cheesecake that tasted like lemons only. I thought the food couldn't have been better for the $260 we paid for 2 people.
The food and service were up to the usual high standard but the background music was very loud and mostly rap. It did not make for a pleasant dining experience. There are many wines available by the glass but whites are served at just below room temperature owing probably to the dispensing system used.
Great experience!!! The food, the staff and the ambience were all fantastic... and we had two other over the top experiences to boot... Owner/Chef Dustin Valette stopped by our table for a quick hello... then his dad Bob stopped by as well. Nice touch!????????????
Great dinner! The service was exceptional and the food was excellent! We did Chef Dustin's selection with wine pairing. It was outstanding. The ambience was super nice and the noise level very low.
The food wasn't that good. Extremely disappointed. Both Ribeye steaks had no flavor, was overcooked and the cut of meat wasn't good. The mushrooms that came with it were tough and a little rubbery. The filet was good, flavorful and cook properly. FYI bottle water is $10 a bottle and they will keep brining you more without asking. Would not go back. Value for the money isn't good.
It was the best meal and dining experience I have had in some time. I loved the atmosphere; walking into the restaurant felt good and looked beautiful. The hostess greeted us, and it was a genuine, warm, and welcoming encounter. It was authentic, and we felt welcome. Our server mirrored the hospitality of the host staff. She was attentive and explained the menu and the few questions we had. The food was beautifully presented, unique, and delicious. The dishes arrived simultaneously and were finished at the table. I felt like royalty at this unprecedented service.
We booked this restaurant for happy hour on our anniversary and ended up staying for dinner! Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. The menu was exciting with fresh options. The ambiance and location in the square was unbeatable. Overall a fantastic experience. Thank you all!!

Service is great. Smaller plates are creative and delicious. The larger plates were lackluster and not a great value. I ordered the squid no pasta either Uni at the servers suggestion. It was ok. Light in the Uni. My sister in law liked the skate, but my husband and brother I n law were not impressed with the filet or rib eye. Dessert was good. Would I return? Maybe if friends insisted.
I'd like to thank the chef for the amazing plates he curated together in the chef's pick option. Also the Somm was amazing in explaining the wines being paired with each tasteful dish. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone who would celebrate an anniversary or birthday. It was a date night for me but given the high end service I'd love to keep this in mind for any special celebration.
Had the foie gras appetizer and it was out of this world! Would have loved to partake of their awesome wine bar, but we had been doing wine-tastings all day and needed an alcohol-free dinner. The dining room was a bit loud, but that probably didn't phase the younger diners. Definitely a must-go-to for being in Healdsburg!
My wife and I decided to celebrate dinner for our 15th wedding anniversary here and it absolutely amazing! The food, the drinks, the ambiance, the service, was all incredible! Some of the staff even left us a nice little personally signed card and added a ‘happy anniversary' note into our dessert.
Superb experience. Beautiful restaurant, great service from everyone-receptionist to the chef/owner who came to say hello. Food is always great. I had the chef menu. Every dish was deliciously creative. Volume of the music was a little too loud for us. Hard to have a conversation.
