The guide answered all my questions and made the wine tours feel special without ever being pushy. My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary with a 3-night stay in the wonderful Grenache House at TGE. We were greeted warmly by everyone there including the winemakers and owners, the Bakers. Gourmet pizza and a bottle of estate Rose' of Pint Noir (and fresh eggs from the hens, cream, butter, and filtered water) were there for our arrival. This set the tone for our stay which included a gourmet 3-course wine safari picnic lunch at the top of the ridge under a 150-year old oak tree, followed by dessert in the wine cave Library! We enjoyed the private hot tub, the elevated deck, the quiet, and the birds as much as the grand finale: a 5-course gourmet wine-paired dinner prepared by the Chef and served in the Cave by the fabulous Justin who was our personal sommelier thought the stay! I cannot recommend a visit, or better yet a stay, at TGE highly enough! We'll be back! Oh, and do join their Wine Club for fabulous wine and discounts on experiences!

The vineyard is very unique, not own providing reasonable wines in single vineyard but also in single block! Definitely a place to visit!

Thomas George is a hidden gem for value and ambiance in the Russian River Valley. The wines are of excellent quality and properly aged: red and white. This is what makes TG different from all the others serving newer wine. The Pinot is the star of the show. But the Chardonnay is amazing as well; and very good value. The property is beautiful and peaceful, and the food paired tastings are so worth it. Come here, have lunch, relax, and drink high value wine.

We visited and experienced the most fantastic tasting and experience this past weekend. We learned so much about the wine making process through knowledgeable staff. Our tasting was fantastic- we are newbies to the world of wine and feel everything was presented and explained to us in a way that not only taught, but also encouraged! Though it rained most of the weekend, the sun came out just long enough for us to go view the vineyards which created the most breathtaking backdrop for my (now) fiance to propose. It truly was a magical time and can honestly say it was the perfect place to have created such a core memory for us.
