I’ve heard about Verite Winery for a long time, and I was thrilled to finally visit. Their wines are truly amazing, and it’s no surprise they’ve received 100 points! The tasting experience exceeded our expectations, and the wine was among the best we have ever tried.
Tod was an excellent host, making us feel welcome and ensuring we had a great time. His knowledge of the wines added to our enjoyment, as he shared insights about their unique characteristics. The chef was also wonderful, continuously bringing out delicious food like cheese, snacks, and pâté, which perfectly complemented the wines.
The place itself was clean and had a unique charm that enhanced the overall experience. If you're a wine lover, I highly recommend visiting Verite Winery—it’s an unforgettable experience!

We had a few bottles during the Christmas holiday season. It’s certainly not a Napa Wine. You don’t feel the smoothness and the profiles you pick up out of Oakville Crossing or the rustic earthy strenuous tones out of Howell Mountain. Sonoma is OK it’s just not Napa Valley.

A truly wonderful experience with a highly personable, fun, kind host who was down to earth on pricing and expectations. This is absolutely a luxury winery. But I found it affordable for special occasion wines. If you're a fan, ask for the straight cab franc from their new label... exquisite.

Located in scenic Sonoma, California, this premium winery has been creating outstanding Bordeaux-style wines since 1998 using traditional French winemaking techniques and unique California terroir. Verité wines such as La Muse, La Joie and Le Désir have deservedly received high critical acclaim for their exceptional quality and elegance. Their attention to detail, innovative approach and passion for the art of winemaking have made Verité a true symbol of winemaking excellence. Had a great experience at Verite on 12/28/2023. Our host Amy gave us a very nice tour of the facility which is stunningly beautiful. This facility is impeccably organized. Amy was a great host and made us feel right at home and was very knowledgeable about all the wines. We had the library tasting and were able to sample back vintages which were amazing.

Had such a great experience with Amy, our host.The vineyard is a bit of a trek to Sonoma but very well worth it.Love the wine and was able to taste some wine from the library....delicious.For sure will visit again when we are back in March 2024 for my B-day.

Beautiful winery and a beautiful experience. Our host, Todd, was incredibly welcoming. Todd created an experience that balanced comfort and conversation with luxury and artistry. The wines are superb, the upper echelon of what I've experienced to this point. we sampled the current vintage and had the good fortune of tasting the maturity of past vintages. The wines showcased the opportunity to own and enjoy for years to come. We walked away with multiple purchases and excited about this new discovery!

Wine heaven here on earth! Have visited twice and had exceptional tasting experiences with Amy. The Verite Wines are all superb and done in a classic Bordeaux style by seventh generation French wine maker. They make a merlot, cabernet and cab franc dominant blend that are so memorable The 2000 library wine we enjoyed 2 years ago was perfection and we just tasted the 2012 a few days ago along with the 2016's. TheIr beautiful new facility is partially complete in a timeless and elegant style. By appointment only and you may need to be a member. Price point commensurate with quality

We opened and drank the 2009 Le Muse last night. Oh my.....what an incredible experience. We found the wine to be one of the best we’ve enjoyed over nearly 40 years of collecting wine. The nose, initial taste, mouth feel and super long finish we’re amazing. We slowly enjoyed the bottle over two hours. This wine is drinking perfectly now. Enjoy!
