From photos you can tell this place was once a fantastic spot to do a wine tasting, but when we stopped by in May, it really felt like this place has stopped trying. We were taken to a large room that was dusty and cluttered and their bathroom available to guests was in dire need of a deep clean. Our group counted maybe 3-4 spiders chilling in there. We were definitely arriving on a high from our previous wine tasting and when we got here, that tanked quickly. The owner and his daughter didn’t say much and kinda lurked there while we ate our lunch and it was weird vibes overall. To top it off, we weren’t huge fans of the wine and of course this spot had the highest tasting fee even though the wine, ambiance, and service didn’t live up to it. I hope this place turns around, but we left feeling very underwhelmed. Platypus wine tour, I recommend you stop bringing your customers here until things improve.

Very casual and laid back vibe here. The owner and his daughter attended to us and we had a good conversation along the way. Lot of good tips for the local area were given as well. Wine was good, cheese was good. We would recommend and would go back. We used a Groupon for our first visit and it worked out perfectly.

John and Abby did a fantastic job. We visited with a tour and enjoyed our time so much we went back the next day. John was an incredible host with the tour, and when we visited the next day Abby spent a long time with us visiting and making us feel welcome even though we showed up rather late. On top of that, the wine is delicious as well.
