First time we have been here since they changed hands from Molly Brown's. Very happy to say, the Red Hen Cafe is just as good, possibly even better than before. Great selection of breakfast lunch, sandwiches and Specialty items, and a nice selection of Mexican food also. The food is outstanding, and the service is great. Good luck to the new owners. I hope the Red Hen Cafe is here to stay.
Red Hen Café is a charming stop along Route 66 and a must-visit if you’re in the area. The atmosphere feels cozy and nostalgic — perfect for a classic diner experience. The staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home.
The food was delicious and comforting, just what you’d hope for on a road trip. Portions were generous and prices reasonable. A great place to grab a hearty meal and enjoy some small-town charm.

When you first walk in, you notice the warmth and charm of the place. Unlike some places, it is peaceful and efficient. We were immediately greeted and seated. Very shortly thereafter, had our beverages. The staff is very expedient like a well owned machine. The food came quickly and in generous portions. We had breakfast and needed to get boxes to go as there was so much leftover. Food presentation and preparation was excellent. Prices are very reasonable. Looking forward...
