There is much speculation of the Native Coffee farmers that first brought this libation into the world. When delving into the origins of the caffeinated beans, one will undoubtedly hear of Ethiopia. The legend endures; a farmer, "Kaldi," when noticing his goats suddenly burst with vigor after eating the hillside plant, began cultivating the beans for himself. It is also fair to include Yemen, coffee beans delivered from the nations Mokha (Mocha) port, or the Indonesian-Dutch island named "Java". These legends of Native Coffee cultivation are as invigorating as the beans themselves. Today we arrive at our recent experience. Here in the quaint little town of Helendale, Ca, we indulge ourselves with a comfy seat, a good book, and some well-deserved pause and introspection at our very own Native Coffee House. The perfect cup awaits you.

I am so grateful for this amazing little coffee shop here in our tiny town. The staff is kind and welcoming and my order comes out perfect every time. I love that they have sugar free flavors (more than just vanilla ?) and you can collect points for discounts in the future!

A really cute little shop. A great place to relax with a really good cup of coffee. Our barista was really friendly and welcoming even though we came in as she was preparing to close. The Mocha and Americano she made for us was perfect.

Cutest coffee shop off the beaten path. Helendale/Silver Lakes seems like kind of an odd place at first, but this business highlights that friendly, creative, and warm people call this place home. Had a delicious chai latte (even though it's 90+ degrees in the desert, perhaps I'm nuts). The menu is extensive and interesting, and my drink was delicious.

It's the best cafe I've ever gone into. While I had bad experiences with the coffee, the food is delectable, and i get the sense that it's made in-house. Regrettably since I am in the middle of building a massive house from my own pocket, I don't usually have enough spare cash to tip much.

I love supporting small, independent coffee houses and this one did not disappoint! It quickly became one of my two favorites in the high desert. My typical order is an iced vanilla latte but I ventured out and tried the Spring Latte (coconut and raspberry) and I’m SO glad I did! I’m already plotting when I can go back for another. It was straight up addictive! My son order the South Lake iced latte and loved it.The shop is adorable and it’s obvious that a lot of thought and design was put into making it an inviting and cozy space. The books and games are a thoughtful touch! The staff was lovely and our cashier/barista was super friendly and enthusiastic about the drinks. I can’t wait to go back!
