Everything was outstanding. The food was great. I tried Mexican corn for the first time, and it was amazing. The service was wonderful. It was my first time at this place, but I’ll definitely come back.

I tried the spiced lamb bolognese and the whipped feta with focaccia and while they were tasty, they didn’t really wow me. The cocktails were decent but not the best I’ve had. The service was a bit slow the night I went. Overall, it’s a nice spot for a special occasion.

If you are looking for a showstopping meal to share, this is exactly what to order. My friend and I came in for a late-night dinner and were blown away by how every dish complemented the next.

Start with the Marinated Olives, briny and fragrant with orange, lavender, and garlic confit. The Wild Mexican White Shrimp skewers were bright and tender with preserved lemon vinaigrette, and the Brussels Sprouts with date purée and brown butter were absolutely unforgettable. The Spiced Lamb Bolognese Radiatore was rich, savory, and the perfect way to round out the meal.

Our server was quick, attentive, and made easy adjustments for my friend’s non-dairy restriction without compromising the flavors. Every plate came out beautifully presented and full of flavor.

The atmosphere kept a lively buzz even as the night wound down, and though our table filled quickly with plates, we still scraped every one clean.

This spot delivers on both flavor and vibe. Highly recommend these dishes if you want a memorable meal to share.

Pita was fantastic. Mocktail was mid for $16. Pork belly skewer was alright.

We were in town for a baptism and we had a party of 12. We did have reservations and they did not disappoint. Everyone raved about their lunch choices. The service was excellent, restaurant ambiance was perfect. A lovely place, excited to return.🇨🇦

Delicious food, friendly staff, and an ambiance that feels very upscale yet approachable! The menu had so many great options that it was difficult to choose. They had some nice mocktails. They were knowledgeable about allergy information and willing to make modifications. Highly recommend!

The glow-up at Atta Girl since they first opened is real! You can practically taste the progress. The food has leveled up big time, and the service? Next level. I wish I remembered our server’s name, but after a few glasses of wine (wink wink), names got a little blurry. What I do remember is that she was one of the best servers I’ve ever had, kind, welcoming, and so on top of everything that I felt like royalty.

Even when there was a tiny hiccup in the kitchen, they fixed it so fast I almost didn’t notice. The whole team came together to make it right like they were auditioning for “Top Service Squad.” The lamb chops? Incredible. The apps? Amazing… even if I can’t remember what they were (wink wink again).

If I could change one thing, I’d love to see a few more appetizer options because Mediterranean food is basically an excuse to eat 10 small plates and call it “tapas.” But honestly, this spot is clearly still finding its rhythm and already killing it.

Overall, Atta Girl is officially one of the best spots in Hermosa Beach, and I go out a LOT. Highly recommend if you want great food, great service, and maybe a few too many glasses of wine.

P.S. While I’m reading this to my girlfriend, she reminded me our server’s name was Savannah. She was amazing.

Great spot in a really cool area! We tried the focaccia with tzatziki, as well as the pork belly, shrimp, and beef skewers - all of which were fantastic. Delicious cocktails too!

Trendy, delicious, and fun! This spot has incredible drinks, apps and dishes. You can go tapas style for the table with the best hummus, bread, and feta whip around...OR get fancy with a meal and dessert. Welcome to Hermosa - we missed you before we knew you were even possible.

The food was very good however they crowded us in a very unusual spot for dinner and we had people standing around us while we ate. That seems to be an issue and nobody really seem to care. Maybe my next visit will be a better one.

Attagirl is a relatively new spot in Hermosa Beach, taking over the location that once housed a Mexican restaurant. The menu has shifted toward Middle Eastern–inspired flavors, with dips, breads, and shared plates that make it a good choice for brunch or lunch.

We began with a platter for the table featuring a variety of dips, and rosemary focaccia. It worked well for sharing and set the tone for the meal.

At our table, two people ordered the shakshuka and really liked it. We also had a pasta dish that was filling, with a good portion size.

Two salads were ordered. One came with an interesting mix of ingredients but was weighed down by too much dressing. The other was heavier, topped with feta cream and pita. We couldn’t finish it, but the addition of stone fruit gave it a distinctive touch.

We chose not to order any drinks.

The restaurant was busy on a Sunday afternoon, and reservations proved necessary. Our group of six was seated comfortably, though the food did take a little while to arrive. The staff were warm and accommodating, and substitutions were handled without issue.

Parking was convenient with a valet option next door, or the $5 lot across the street, which gave us three hours. We chose the latter, and really lucked out on finding parking in the lot (it did take a little time, and we were slightly late to our lunch meet)

Overall, Attagirl feels like a solid new addition to Hermosa Beach. The menu has some variety to suit vegetarians and enough variety for meat eaters, and while a couple of dishes felt unbalanced, there were definite highlights. Friendly service and a lively atmosphere made it a pleasant place to gather for lunch.
