Have eaten here many times, and while the prices are steep, the acoustics are poor, the food & service are STELLAR ! Each dish is creative but still recognizable as food, and the layers of flavor are so satisfying. The staff will tell you to order more food than you may need so slow roll your ordering. This place won't disappoint if you're after a delicious meal.

We recently went to Baran's and had an incredible experience. The food is amazing, the wait staff is exceptional, and I love the intimacy of the restaurant being on the smaller side. We love coming here and can't wait to come back!

It was our first time there. It was excellent. We absolutely enjoyed the food and service. It's a small place which makes it a bit noisy but totally worth it. We will go again!

We love the food and the team that runs this place. Celebrated my husband's birthday with three other couples. Everything was delicious and great service.

Another fabulous dining experience at Baran's! There is always something new and innovative on the menu and the wine list is extensive. The restaurant is warm and welcoming and the service is impeccable. Our favorite spot!

Excellent restaurant in a nondescript strip mall. Very highly rated and the food is amazing. The portions are meat to share, and worth every bite. The apple salad, Beef cheeks and the chicken were devine, and the focaccia very good. Staff very attentive and pleasant. This is a popular restaurant, parking is tricky, so make sure you make a reservation and come early.

Outstanding food! We had the focaccia bread, maple apple salad, gnocchi, fried chicken and pork chop. All of the dishes were delicious and I can't wait to go back. The restaurant is very small and it does not look like it is open if you drive by, but it is. Definitely make reservations. I don't think they can accommodate walk-ins. The parking lot is small, but we didn't have a problem finding parking on the side street. I would walk a mile to have dinner at Baran's 2239! It is that good! We also had the coffee toffee pudding and it was delicious as well! The service is outstanding as well.

Can only speak for the burrito experience. I got the chicken vindaloo special and it was great. Good amount of flavoring, the chicken was tender and the tots and eggs were cooked nicely. The cilantro lime sauce went very well with it.

The staff was very friendly. I feel the og breakfast burrito is still my favorite so far.

If you're going to get their special burritos or regular burritos. I suggest dming them or calling them for availability.

I was pleasantly surprised by the intimacy of Baran's. From the moment we stepped inside, it felt as though we'd been transported to a cozy small-town restaurant, far removed from the chaos of LA. The room was warm and inviting, with an almost nostalgic quality—like dining in a cherished family home. Our host greeted us with genuine warmth and hospitality. We started with a lovely bottle of wine, followed by focaccia bread, apple salad, and spaghetti. The salad was extraordinary, easily one of the best I've ever had. And the spaghetti? Exceptional. The flavor profile was unexpected and bold, a daring combination that somehow managed to taste both innovative and comforting, as if crafted with real love. I'd give Baran's a solid 9.3/10. I'll definitely be returning. Highly recommend.

Another excellent dinner at Baran's with friendly, professional service and delicious food. We loved the gnocchi, hamachi sashimi, and the pork chop was tasty and juicy. The timing of food, the suggestions by our server, and the creative dishes made for a great dinner.

My friend and I have been waiting a long time to dine at Baran's 2239. We finally put it on the calendar and went there for dinner last night. We were so full of hope. The interior was quaint, but felt a bit like a coffee shop. Although I do love that feeling, I guess I was imagining a different setting for such a highly reviewed restaurant. Our server was a bit distant with us and we felt rushed. We understand tables need to be turned, but we were approached about our drinks and meal order, yet the gentle check-in to see how things were going, just didn't happen. I don't know how to explain other than it was not a warm, positive feeling. The food was good. Not as we had dreamed about. Burrata was decent. Nothing amazing. The sashimi was the BEST part. Then we split the cod fish entree and it was good. Again, nothing amazing. Just good. The dessert was not our favorite. It was too firm and cold. We want to sink our teeth into the bite and end the night with a smile. Instead, we got up because we felt our time "was up" and we walked out telling each other that we would not need to bring out hubbies to dine here. We spent (w/tip) over $200 and we had to split an entree. I wish I could leave a super positive review, but I am sharing what I would really want to know about any local eatery.

Our meal at Baran's was wonderful. The charcuterie board did not disappoint, the Hamachi was delicious and the steak sublime. Favorite bites were the thrice done potatoes! This hidden gem is obviously a favorite with locals and the staff know and treat them like family. Definitely recommend!!
