Incredibly expensive and mediocre quality drinks and pastries. I don't recall being asked what size to choose from for the matcha latte, so we were charged $8.75 for the (presumably) size large matcha + $1.50 for oat milk, which is absurd. According to the menu outside, the largest size should have been $7.75 (medium being $6.75 and small being $5.75), however there is an asterisks at the bottom of the menu stating they may increase prices due to costs of ingredients. Regardless, we had to go back for an itemized receipt because we were in disbelief of how a single pastry and a drink added up to $17. The almond croissant was pretty but did not taste very fresh, I feel that we could get the same quality from a grocery store. The matcha is a dull green color. There is plenty of seating available outside and it's dog friendly, and the service is solid. However, I will not be coming back here and I would not recommend this place.

We were really let down by the quality of the desserts, especially when they’re incredibly overpriced. Recommend going anywhere but here if you’re gonna go out in Hermosa for baked goods.
Great spot right by the Hermosa Beach pier. Quick service and excellent food. I had the spinach and feta omelette on my first visit and it was so delicious, I went back the next day and had it again! Friendly and courteous staff. Thanks.

Coffee was okay, my hazelnut latte has a lot of milk than I prefer. But their hot cocoa was better. I recommend the apricot croissant, its sooo good!
They have savory breads and ice cream as well. Plenty of seating inside and even outside by the patio. Service was fast and friendly.

Loved .
Busy cafe, I got something small and easy. Lots of people here so I know the food is delicious! The pastries in the front counter look yummy!

Got a fig toast and a chai latte and both were delicious. Service was quick and the patio was very pleasant to sit down and eat at. Couldn't have asked for more.
I always love this palce but today the service was awful I ask for hot water and they want to charge for this one???? Need better customer service..so sad...
Really delicious breakfast for two people, enjoyed every moment of it. Coming back!
Stopped by here to get coffee for my husband. I saw red velvet cake and coundn't resist it. My husband liked his drip coffee. Unfortunately, the cake tasted dry and I didn't like it. It was especiallly disappointing because red velvet cake is my favorite. I only had one cake so maybe other items are good.
This place is in a great location but the food was disappointing for a hefty price. Paid $11 for the tomato mozzarella quiche which was almost 100% cheese and no egg. It does not taste fresh unfortunately and we did not finish it. Added star because the team is nice and the location is beautiful in hermosa.
