The black woman up at the front was very annoyed and disrespectful to my mother and I. I hope for no one else has to experience this type of service. My mother was very upset after lunch and so was I. I hope they train their employees to respect and be patient with customers. You may not always have a great day but you do need to treat your customers right all the time. Please talk to that black lady (the cashier), or fire her. She’s awful.

I stopped by California Sushi and Teriyaki – Fat Kitty, and it was absolutely amazing! I tried the Rainbow Roll and Salmon Tempura Roll, and both were super fresh and flavorful. You can really taste the quality of the fish — every bite was perfect.
The service was also outstanding — everyone was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. But what really surprised me was the udon. They actually make the noodles fresh by hand, and you can tell! The texture was wonderfully chewy, and the broth was rich and comforting. Honestly, it might be one of the best udon bowls I’ve had in California.
If you visit this place, you have to try their udon — it’s a total game-changer.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for fresh sushi and authentic Japanese comfort food! 🍣🍜

Even the basic teriyaki bowl came with a side salad and miso soup (which was delicious). the teriyaki bowl was also great. if i liked seafood i would try the sushi but honestly the teriyaki is enough :)

California Sushi & Teriyaki has a very good catering menu. I placed a preorder for the Sushi & Roll Platter (50 pcs) in advance with a 30-piece Fried Gyoza Platter and a few bowls of miso soup.
The portions were very generous for five adults to share at the office. The rolls and sushi were fresh and neatly packaged, and everything — soy sauce, wasabi, plates, and chopsticks — was included, so there was nothing extra to prepare.
You just need to order 24 hours in advance, and they even offer free delivery for orders over $200 to areas near Hermosa, Redondo, Manhattan Beach, and Torrance.
I chose to pick it up myself, but it’s perfect for office lunches or family gatherings!
The portions are large, the variety is great, and overall, I was very satisfied.

I came with friends in person a couple years ago. Service and food was amazing. Since then I have ordered a couple times on Door Dash (including today for lunch). Their Bento Boxes are incredible as always. Highly recommend if in the area 👍🏻

It's a place that's worth going out of your way to visit in LA! All the food is really delicious, but the udon noodles and broth are especially amazing. The prices are great, and our kids love it too, so we go there often. It's clean, the staff are friendly, and the sushi is fresh and tasty as well.

Best service I’ve ever had on a Togo experience. I forgot a bag and they called me a min after I left. They offered to deliver it to me. I was close so I came back. I have never had someone call saying we forgot something and I am so impressed with the customer service!
When we got home and ate it was so good!
