It's not the best service. The food was okay but overpriced for what you get. We ordered two Mojara plates, patacon, salad, rice and a drink. The fish was tasty, the Platano was hard and cold, the rice was okey, (I make a better rice) and the salad was skimpy and not that good.
When we finished, I had to wave down the waitress twice to get her attention since she was engaged in idle banter with another customer, a few tables away. The check came out to close to $100.00 including the tip, and I was still hungry!!
This is the second time I've eaten here with the same experience, but I thought I would give them a second chance.
If my date wants to go for round three, she could pay.
No Mas, for me!!

We were truly enchanted by Encanto!
We finally found a place where the food is not only authentically Colombian, but the atmosphere feels like a true dining experience. The service was excellent, and we even took home a “Lechona” that was absolutely incredible. Plus, it’s within walking distance of the beach. They mentioned they’ll be introducing some Colombian-American fusion dishes soon… can’t wait to come back and try them!

Very nice atmosphere, clean and warm design. The food was great! We had a group of 4 people and split 5 appetizers between us. Fresh, quick service and delicious. Also, their Jugos are really good, just like the ones I had when visiting Colombia!

Lovely place to enjoy home made Colombian food. Delicious appetizers, “papa criolla”, “empanadas”, “morcilla” and there is so much more. “Calentao”, “mondongo”, “lechona”. The juices are all natural and it’s very inviting. Will come back again.

This is not Colombian food. Flavors are not even close to what it really should be. Very expensive as well. Nicely decorated and good service though. Not worth it to come back.

Food was incredible and flavorful, staff were friendly and gracious and the atmosphere was inviting. Highly recommended. Arroz con pollo was *insert chef's kiss meme here.

We went to Encanto on Saturday, and very surprised to see that all the people that works there are Colombian but the food is not! We order empanadas , the taste is ok but they are not Colombian, lechon was the dish of the day, so dry, no meat and if any was all dry ! And dessert, Obleas just with Arequipe and nothing else $ 10 dollars each ! Wow

Simply too expensive for what you get. They charge ~$35 for very basic food. A simple chicken stew with a boiled potato (whole! not even cut up) a single chunk of boiled yucca, and a single large chunk of plantain, is not worth the price they charge. The whole menu is easily twice as much as what it's worth. Three luke warm empanadas? $15! Sodas? $5-$7. Come on people. You're serving simple countryside food as if it were an entree at Ryla. I LOVE Colombian food. I grew up in Colombia. I really want to love this place, but the prices are a joke. Our lunch for three people was $150 and we ate rice, beans, and some boiled meats.

This place has two options: 1) move to Hawthorne, lower your rent, and cut your prices in half or 2) Hire a chef, elevate the sophistication of the recipes, and try to hold on to what you've got.

I was very proud to take my friends to try Colombian food. I ordered calentado and I didn't care for it
.. the arepa didn't look like an arepa They like the food and the place but they were changed $10.00 per a cup of coffee. They requested refills and each refill was also changed $10:00. Shame for that..... a pound of Colombian coffee is about $10.00 to $12.00 dollars. They paid more for the coffee than for the food they ordered.
No saben amarrar El perro con longaniza!!

First time there for a 15Añera! Appetizers had good flavor, and main entrees were chicken tender and well seasoned! Did not know that place existed! Love Colombian food!

Love this quaint spot in Hermosa Beach. Very happy to be able to enjoy Colombian food as there aren’t too many different types of cuisines available in the Beach Cities. The arepas and the panela water with lemonade were delicious. The waiter was kind and attentive.
