Everything was out of this world—absolutely delicious and uniquely flavorful! Especially the Gem, tomato salad, fried Brussels sprouts, grilled cauliflower & corn, mac & cheese, and the veal—each dish was perfection! My compliment to the chef!

Loved our dinner at Fox & Farrow. We were celebrating a birthday and our server (who was great the whole night) brought out everyone to sing. It was very fun and funny. The food was delicious, service was great and I just love the whole “feel” of the place. I look forward to our next dinner at Fox & Farrow.

Overall Fox and Farrow from a food perspective was just ok. We had the pretzel loaf and cauliflower to start. Both of these dishes were good. For mains, the table split chicken kabobs, the wild boar risotto and salmon. The risotto was made well but was very bland and sparse with meat. The chicken kabobs were fine (but would hope so). I also found the salmon under seasoned and really fine. Nothing really stood out 🤷♀️

Fabulous Summer Saturday Night! Menu allows treating the night like a typical appetizer, entree and dessert evening or a bit more like a night of shared dishes. Ambiance at night is fairly romantic or intimate for those who are just friends. Have thought about going here before, but we were glad we finally booked and went this time in Hermosa.

Unfortunately no veggies options. Even their falafels are fried in the same pan as meat dishes. They weren’t able to offer any other alternatives. Bit disappointing, really wanted to try it out

After months of wanting to try Fox and Farrow, coupled with great reviews across many platforms, we finally decided to go to celebrate a birthday. The atmosphere is fantastic - love the dark European pub vibe, beautiful lights, art and furniture, however every other aspect of our experience was disappointing. The waitress maybe smiled once throughout our entire service and generally gave the impression that our presence was an inconvenience for her - this really put damper on the entire night that was meant to be celebratory. The truffle fries and sweet/sour lobster soup were delicious (esp the soup, highly recommend!!), however the boar risotto and duck pasta tasted like the kitchen had completely forgotten to salt them, which muted all the other flavors in the dishes. It was pretty shocking for a place of this caliber. Overall, it was really the service we received that will ensure we never return, super bummed bc I know Chef Darren has been an iconic local chef in the South Bay and clearly many, many other patrons have had an incredible experience here. :(

What a great spot. If you live in a beach town most restaurants have an indoor outdoor vibe that is great but can be loud and chilly. This place is more like a European pub/restaurant with great food and a quiet vibe. Drinks are wonderful. Well priced for the area and the quality of the food. It's upstairs with no patio but warm and intimate. Great for a date or a table of four. I'll be back.
