Super busy on weekends but that’s what you want at a beachside cafe. Breakfast burrito was top notch (8.4/10) and the service was fast for take out orders. Would recommend if you’re in the area, love the beach and like quality food.

Martha's is the gold standard for breakfast in the South Bay. This is the best location, hands down. Since Hillary purchased the business he has made wonderful changes to the aesthetic building a beautiful white fence, buying lovely umbrellas and updating the bathrooms and interior paint. The food is more consistent and yes, more delicious. Kevin runs a great business. However, the only downside is the coffee which is simply horrible. For a premium location with fine cuisine, please, for the love of God, buy better beans! Then you are 10-10 or solid 5s for your scores. Today, that coffee is worse than most gas stations.

Stopped in for my first time today and I was really impressed. Breakfast was honestly delicious and the location is hard to beat. It’s located in Hermosa Beach really close to the actual beach. Parking in the area can be a bit difficult but spaces open up quite frequently, but it will definitely be metered, there aren’t really any free parking spaces. We arrived around 10:30 for Sunday brunch and had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated for a party of two. The wait was worth it and even though we had to sit outside, it was covered and our server was polite and attentive. They have many tables inside as well as out so there are plenty of seating options.
Inside and outside were both bustling and it was really busy, but service was still pretty quick. The menu has a lot of great options, but I decided to go with the Eggs California because I am a huge Benedict fan and I added chorizo which I would highly recommend. The chorizo and avocado combination is almost unbeatable, and I honestly loved it. The coffee was also strong and overall I thought it was a fantastic breakfast. I would say it’s my favorite breakfast spot in Hermosa Beach and would recommend to anyone.

This is a breakfast institution in the South Bay. Since new ownership took over 3 years ago, everything has improved. The food is consistent, delicious and thoughtful. The service team is very friendly. However, the setting is spectacular. It is a treat to enjoy breakfast on a nice outdoor patio right on the Strand. Finally, Kevin, the GM, runs a very fine operation. This is a jewel in the South Bay!
