Great pizza, crispy, hot and good sauce. Fast service. Great lunch special deal. Limited seating inside, nice outdoor seating. I’d put it on the upper scale of California pizza spots. 🍕👌🏼

Stopped by for dinner because we were in the area. Ordered cheese pizza and were pleasantly surprised. This thin crust pizza was scrumptious! The pizza was super yummy and the sauce tasted fresh and homemade. Although the sign outside says they serve sandwiches but currently they only have pizza and arugula salad. The inside has a small area of bar type seating, with a quaint outdoor dining area. If you love thin crust, you’ll love this pizza! It’s worth a drive to give it a try.

Hands down the best pizza in Hermosa. Eric, the owner, is an absolute pro at his craft. After regularly indulging on a weekly basis, I’ve recommended this place to dozens of friends and everyone has been equally blown away. Great service, excellent pizza, and always fresh. 11/10!

I had grown weary of the pizza options around here, but then Redwood Pie opened.
The pizza horizons have opened up for me again and all is good in my little world.
Highly Recommended!

Great sourdough style crust. Love that they have dairy free cheese option - only spot in Hermosa that does.

The pizza at this place is very good. I got the lunch special which entails a 2 slice choice with arugula salad with a drink of choice.
The slices and salad were served on the a cardboard plate which is neat. There's seating inside and outside for dining which is nice. The staff was very nice and the space is very open and inviting.
I got the classic pepp and D-Fresh. The sourdough crust was cooked very well and chewy. The flavor of the pizza was great and not greasy at all.

We just ordered a pizza and it was cold, seemed like it had been made an hour ago.
They are not fresh at all.

I loved the stone brick pizza so much. It was a nice gooey cheese and the pepperoni was the perfect crisp

The Margherita here is incredible. The sourdough crust has that perfect crunch on the outside with a light, airy inside and just the right tang. The sauce is fresh and flavorful, the mozzarella melts beautifully, and the basil ties it all together. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients in every bite.
On top of that, the staff is super friendly and welcoming—you can tell they’re proud of what they make. We found our new favorite pizza spot. Redwood Pie is the kind of place you look forward to coming back to.

Came here for the sourdough dough for the pizza and I will definitely be coming back, just as the guys behind the counter promised.
Newly opened pizza spot on the street leading to Hermosa pier, so limited street metered parking. They have limited patio outdoor seating, but you’re at the beach so might as well take your pie to go and eat it at the beach, watching and listening to the waves crash.
They have 11 different styles of pizza that cost $15-20 for 12” and $20-25 for 16”.
We ordered the margherita 16” ($20) and half classic pepp and half d-fresh 16”. (Disclaimer if they’re super busy, they can’t do half and half! So don’t get mad.) The dough was phenomenal, super crunch and chewy. The crust is like a mini baguette. I was hesitant about half d-fresh because it’s a white/bianca pie because I find them to be a little too creamy, but with the spicy sausage, garlic, and pickled Serranos it had a kick to it. The classic pepp has the pepperoni you’d find on a slice of pizza in nyc. What more can I say.
The guys behind the counter were super nice and funny. They have over 8 years of experience in pizza making, and honestly the best pizza I’ve had in the South Bay.
