We had a great time at this restaurant from the second. We walked through the front door. They had a plaque on the table with our names on it and greeted us very nicely. The food was amazing and the drinks were delicious. We will definitely come back.
Main entrees and sides were really good. Was not a fan of the artichoke and spinach dip. We will go back.
As soon as I walked in to request a table for happy hour. I was rudely greeted by the guy bartender for having a water bottle while requesting a table for the hostess. I haven't even finished talking to hostess without him yelling across the restaurant saying no outside drinks. Everyone in the restaurant turned their heads for the loud and disrespectful comment. I understand that if we can't bring outside drinks you can ask us to throw away the drinks but in the manner that he said was very rude. I asked can you throw it away for us so can be seated and he rudely said that's not his problem. You need to get rid of it yourself if you want a table while standing next to the trash can in the restaurant. Luckily the hostess actually has hospitality training and offered to throw my drink away so we can be seated. Then we wanted to order oysters since the restaurant was promoting the oysters outside, but then as soon as we are seated they said they are sold out. Crazy how quick the menu changes when there is a conflict with the team. I would advise to avoid this location if you want good service because you won't find any good service here.
If you're going to offer a nice piece of steak, you need to offer some nice glasses of wine. Wine list is minimal . Busboy cleared our silverware before we got our entrées. Had to hunt someone down to get fresh silverware. There are a lot of choices for steak in the south Bay that are a better value and a better experience.
Great happy hour
Loved the beet salad, the pork belly was subpar (really dried out and over cooked)
Loved it! Will definitely be back again and again. Especially happy with the service and ambiance
The steaks were awful. The sauces were terrible. How could this happen at a steak house? All the non steak items were good not outstanding. I expect outstanding for these prices!
This is the Sabrina Carpenter and Frank Costello.
The place is clean, attentive staff, good vibes
We stopped by on a Friday night for a date night dinner (thanks to our preschool who did a date night session).
I love the ambiance and decor. Slight nod to a mountain hunting lodge without going overboard.
Service was just ok, maybe because our bill was not $200 since we did not order steaks and multiple cocktails. We paid $150 with 17% tip. I usually tip 20% but food and service was disappointing.
For apps we got the eggplant meatballs, it was a little too dense and chewy, and did not have a ton of flavor.
For entrees, my husband did like his braised short ribs while I got the scallops. The scallops were delicious but it sat on a bed of cheesy black rice. There was so much cheese, I had to cut it with a knife. I had 3 bites of it and couldn't eat more. Just too much cheese and did not go with scallops at all.
Server did check in about our apps but never asked us about our meal.
I would go back for a drink at the bar but not for another meal.

Food took a little longer than expected but was compensated with complementary bread. Steak was amazing
Great last minute change of plans experience! Thank you for the service and delicious food. We will definitely come back for some more!
Very pleasant happy hour experience a few months ago. My husband and I sat at the bar, we each had a cocktail and split oysters and a flatbread. The drinks were delicious. The bartender wasn’t super engaging but I think he was getting set up at the beginning of his shift. Would come back next time we’re in town!
Had a great experience last night (11Jan2025). 6 of us for a Bday dinner. Server was appropriately attentive without being overbearing. All the food was very tasty. I had the Bone-in NY and was pleasantly surprised the bone wasn't gigantic so good amount of meat. Flavor was great and cooked perfectly. It is a bit pricey but quality is there. They have a very extensive whiskey list and a relatively small wine list but good options. Menu is ala carte and the sides are enough for 2 to share each. Small eaters could make it 3 (personal opinion). Prices are equivalent to a steakhouse and rightfully so. Almost forgot to mention the wedge salad, nice large chunks of bacon and definitely a good start.
So good and delicious. Definitely will go back.
