Great experience. Great steak. Great whiskey. Service was great - which is a rare find in the Covid Era. We'll definitely be back. Thanks for a great dinner.

Steak & Whisky is a unicorn. For a South Bay restaurant, it provides an extraordinary experience:1. The friendliness and attentiveness of the service staff -- form the greeter to the bartender to the wait staff -- made my time at the restaurant fly by -- my suggestion: sit at the bar, and have a great conversation with not only the staff but other patrons;2. The drinks -- a variety of top shelf Bourbon -- made my party and me stay longer than expected (the reasoning: why go to another place when this bar has everything we need; there is also special lockers that I appreciate) -- - my suggestion ask Connor, Issac, Grant or Jack to set you up with "his choice," these guys are professionals ; and3. We were presently surprised by the food -- we had a tomahawk, seafood tower and other apps; everything was to our liking -- my suggestion: order that happy hour burger (superb). Thanks for such a great time.

As a whiskey and steak lover this place hit the spot. This is a gem even if it's to drop in for the tastings. Really happy south bay has a whiskey bar like this.

The octopus was delicious. Everything else was incredibly bland. My husband’s salmon was absent of ANY seasoning. I had the seafood spaghetti. I NEEDED salt and pepper. The drinks looked and tasted amazing.

GOOD food. Great service. Excellent see plenty Whiskey menu.
Pros:1) Atmosphere was intimate, quieter spot. Small space with a more rustic, antler vibe.2) Service was great. Our waitress was timely, attentive, and nice.3) Appetizers were solid (got shrimp cocktail and the spinach/artichoke dip).4) Happy Hour prices.Cons:1) Steak was not good. Tough and chewy, clearly was not fresh. Also wasn’t cooked to preference.2) Cocktails should have been better. Whiskey place and you don’t have big cubes in an old fashioned!3) More of a heads up that sides don’t come with the steak. $15 for mashed potatoes is a bit pricey even for a nicer steak place like this.If you want some cocktails you’ll spend ~$100-150 per person here.Overall I wouldn’t recommend. If you want a nice steak dinner I’d for sure go somewhere else. Has the potential to be a great spot, but fell flat.

I've been waiting years to come here and brought my girlfriend last night for Valentine's day. The food was unfortunately all underwhelming, and would have been even at a lower price point If you put a singular dish, such as steak, in the name of the restaurant, you have to nail that dish. Our 14 oz ribeye was unevenly cooked probably because it was unevenly cut. One half of the steak was a nice medium rare and the other was well done and under an inch in thickness. Spinach artichoke appetizer was good. The risotto was undercooked resulting in chewy grains and a loose texture without the silkiness that characterizes the dish. We also ordered a side of asparagus. This consisted of 6 stalks which was comical. Mini key lime pie for dessert was good. Ultimately we enjoyed our night together, but I hoped the food would be better executed. With a menu this size, for this price, I expected something of a different caliber.

We went to Steak and Whiskey for a special occasion. We normally don't go all out like this. I don't spend a lot of money on going out but this was so so worth it. I can't wait to go back. If you have not been go.

Had a great time celebrating my wife's birthday there. The NY strip was exquisite! They have a really cool ambiance too. I wish they had some area that was dog friendly. However, everything else was awesome.
