Old school California music club. Last Wednesday of the month: Songwriter Showcase.
Last night's (7/30/25) Showcase lineup was out of this world. Very exciting mix of original work by talented musicians. This night had a number of repeat appearances from the last 15 months of the program along with first-time appearances. It just keeps getting better!
Always a nice and friendly crowd responsive to and supportive of the performers.
Craft beer from Hermosa Brewing Company and Project Barley on tap. Mixed and canned drinks. Opens at 7 PM, so eat dinner first.
Can bring in food (clean up after yourself if & when you do). No wait staff: order drinks at the bar.
SRO; some seating available. Reasonably priced ticketed events.
It's always a great place, so happy we have this locally. Bartenders always nice and helpful.
Great experience, great atmosphere, great people.
Saint Rocke..the venue is fabulous for bands and launching new talent. The staff and sound crew were kind and very welcoming. Couldn’t ask for more.
Attended the Karaoke contest to observe the talent. The only unprofessional part of the evening was the panel of judges.
This panel for the month of May seemed to be a little to drunk and couldn’t keep it’ together til the end..to respect the talent who came quite away to contribute to the nights event.
The judges jumped up on stage as soon as the contestants finished and instead stepping off to review the finalists list and select the winners. They decided to preform their rendition of Jack Blacks band Tenacious D’. Swearing and screaming into the mic.
The other judge took the mic and went around the room tables entertaining himself with the patrons. In all several attendees left.
One foot note..the MC was gracious and very professional the highlight of the evening besides the contestants.
I do hope that this panel of judges isn’t what’s to come to represent Saint Rocky’s coming events…
Spent all night there just to be blasted by the staff for stepping outside for a breather. Definitely on a power trip
Woman in charge incredibly rude to my husband and I.
First time there. Will definitely return. Really great sound. Vocally appreciative crowd. Seemed like everyone had enough room to just stand , just dance or sit down . Great selection of beers on tap.
Great venue!
3rd time I've been here this year, and my opinion of St. Rocke keeps going up. It's the best local live music venue since Cafe Bugaloo closed. St. Rocke bar staff is super, and they consistently make a good Negroni, I briefly talked to Willie the guy who mixes the music, and found he and the rest of the staff welcoming and good spirited. It makes it even better to be able to walk to a mini concert from home. Like the recent lineup, too.
Great venue. Saw Black Flag- friendly and good bar tenders//

Fan Halen was GREAT..!!
This is a really fun local venue. Strong drinks and a lively dance floor. Highly recommend!
Great karaoke show.
Superb intimate venue for live music! Stu Allen & Cubensis were special. Very special. Thank you!
Doors opened promptly at 6 as advertised. Staff was extemely helpful. A member of our party has ADA needs. They provided us with an extremely good seat. I especially like the Project Barley beers. And the band tore the place up. Also, a shockingly good Shakedown Street. Lots of free parking!! Worth the drive from The Valley.
