Definitely not looking forward to return after being told to leave, by what may have been poor management.
It would be ideal to close off rooms and such beforehand, to prevent patrons from going into spaces needed by the establishment, and to avoid telling consumers to stay, after one has already packed up to go, per management's request.

1st time going here per recommendation - not a self professed coffee expert or anything of the such - but you can tell that the quality of ingredients used on my coffee order is really good. I also tried the croissant - and it was really, really, really good ?. Now, like I said, 1st time... I don't know if the wait for a drink order usually take long ( waited 15 min for mine ), I guess online order is the way to go if you want your drink on the go. There was only one barista at the time of my visit but you could tell that she was really putting attention to detail on each order that she was crafting.

FANTASTIC! Had a wonderful celebratory dinner! All dishes we tried were delicious & two were the best we’ve ever tasted: the ribeye & the lobster gnocchi - truly special! The owner & servers were friendly & gracious. Offered wine recommendations that were superb. Ambience was lovely, too. Highly recommended - we will definitely return soon!

All I have to say is wow. This is a hidden GEM!!! Walking in we were immediately met my the owner who was very friendly. We came during graduation week so this area was almost like a ghost town. So we got the best seat in the house IMO. The ambiance of this place is so romantic. Candles, decor, everything just beautiful!! I’ll start by saying all the food we had was amazing but with me being the sweet tooth I am: THE TIRAMISU is to die for!!!! Probably some of the best I’ve ever had, and I get it a lot because it’s my favorite. The bread was soft and came with seasoned olive oil. We got the Lamb and Salmon Truffle Pasta dishes. They each had such a great flavor and were cooked perfectly!! The flavor of the salmon wasn’t my favorite ever, I feel as if it didn’t taste the freshest. But it was still very yummy! Oh and we got the zucchini blossoms, which at first looked questionable. But we’re so unique!! Cooked well and tasted even better. 10/10 would come here again!!

I might be biased because am from the North East Italy, but Luca knows the secrets of the real Italian cousine. I had just a couple of his items on the menu and I want to try all the rest. It’s not just the food, it’s the atmosphere, it’s the service, it’s magic. Hands down my number one Italian restaurant in the whole US. LA citizens, Hermosa beach people you don’t know the pearl you have there.Anyone, before you die, you have to go try Luca’s and his team delicacies. If you committed too many sins and you’re not entirely sure of the outcome in the afterlife, at least you will taste paradise before you leave Earth.

Evening food is INCREDIBLE - like you’re in Italy. People are wonderful, especially the GM and head waiter. They make you feel very welcome. Only complaints - no vintages on wine list, no corkage. Food and wine list is also overpriced. And while I complain about the bill every time I come here, we go back. Because the food is incredible, the people are wonderful and you feel like you’re not in Hermosa Beach, but transported to somewhere else.
