Ordered salads and they forgot to add the chicken. When we called back to figure out how to get the situation resolved, they denied it happened as we stared at our chickenless salads. Classic move to not believe the customer—mind you the regular customer. They said there was no way they could issue a refund or deliver the salads we initially ordered. This isn’t the first time we’ve had awful customer service at Starbird. But it’s probably the last. It’s happened over and over again and this is the final straw. It’s just not worth it. Go to literally any other chicken place. You’ll get better quality food and better customer service.

first time eating here and will def be back! delicious food, plenty of parking, and clean facilities. they have a couple self-order machines, and though me and my friend were the only customers there, they wanted us to use the machines instead of taking our order. other than that, had a great experience.

I wasn't a huge fan of the salad for taste or value. There was one chicken tender, that was super crispy, without much actual chicken, that was cut up into about 5 small pieces thrown on top of some salad. It wasn't enough chicken for the price. Disappointed.
Unfortunately I got a bad impression of Starbird Chicken, since I arrived at 9:40 to buy my salad and it turns out that it is closed. It is a lie that they close at 10:00 pm, update your hours, Since one trusts that it is available on the schedule on your website.,I will not buy from this location again. Bad service 😡

I am new to the Hermosa Beach area and as fried chicken lover, this Starbird location has quickly become a staple for me! Their entire menu is delicious and I love that the chicken is made without antibiotics. A special shoutout to Linda (I believe she is one of the managers), for the quick but very friendly service! She was very kind to this Hermosa newbie :)

I recently tried the chicken sandwich at Starbird, and unfortunately, it was a disappointment. The chicken was cold, which completely took away from what should have been a hot, crispy, and flavorful bite. On top of that, the fries weren’t fresh! they tasted like they had been sitting out for a while, lacking the crispiness and warmth you’d expect. For the price and reputation, I was expecting much better quality. Definitely not the experience I was hoping for.
