I was visiting from Texas, staying at the Quality Inn right behind the plaza so this location was convenient for me. I ordered my favorite drink, Grande Mocha and it had the rich flavor, really smooth and temperature was just right. I found myself with a Grande Mocha to the next two mornings during my visit. I come back to Texas, order a Grande Mocha, it was a slap in the face. It was a reminder why I stopped going to Starbucks. Why does this Hermosa Beach Starbucks make a bad ass mocha and I get home to get this $6.00 hot water with syrup inside a Starbucks cup? This is not first rodeo, i noticed this change of flavor last year at several locations. WHat does the California Starbucks do different that Texas Starbucks? Keep up the good work and produce fantastic drinks!!!

This Starbucks is located in a shopping center with Trader Joe's, which means the parking lot often fills up. However, when I visited at 10 am on a weekday, there was plenty of parking available. This Starbucks is on the smaller side, has few employees, and includes a drive-through, leading to a bit of a wait for my order as the cashier was also busy heating up food. Despite this, the cashier was friendly and polite, and I didn't have to wait long for my drink. My soy latte was excellent.
