Amazing bakery with the sweetest owner. I was in a huge pickle this weekend and she baked me a dozen cookies with only 2 hours notice. I can’t tell you how lovely Katy is and how cute her shop is. I so appreciate her and the cookies are wonderful!!

We took a cookie decorating class with Katy and it was amazing! It was informative (learning techniques and skills to decorate cookies) as well as a fun and welcoming environment. Katy went above and beyond to make it enjoyable and we left with delicious (I cannot emphasize this enough), beautifully decorated cookies. The coffee was also really good. A great experience overall. Looking forward to visiting again.

$9.50 for a small 8-ounce almond milk cappuccino and a chocolate chip cookie. I felt bad, but didn't leave a tip. Sorry, but I can't fathom spending over 10 bucks for a morning Joe and a cookie. I sure hope the employees get paid a living wage at these prices. The decorated sugar cookies look cute (don't know how they taste) but the latte and chocolate chip cookie both tasted meh. As a former NY'er, I might be interested to try to the bagels flown in from NYC at some point.This cute little place seems to have a lot of fans, which is great, because I want a local place to succeed. It's just not for me on the regular.

Stopped by on our way to the beach for a quick bite and a coffee. Excellent bagels and terrific cappuccino!! The owners are very friendly and made our experience memorable. Great spot to sit outside for people watching and enjoying the day.Highly recommend stopping by, grabbing a bite and chatting with Katie!

My wife and I were only in Hermosa Beach for a few hours before our flight so we wanted to go for a walk and get some coffee. We happened to stumble upon Sugar Dayne's Cookie. We were pleasantly greeted by a warm smile and welcome! The staff was so sweet and pleasant and made sure we had all of the freshly made coffee, bagels and cookies. You don't get service like this very often as it's such a rarity. I wish they were located where we actually live as we would go there all the time! I would recommend to anyone who's in the area!
