I used to love studying at Source Café during my student years — cozy vibes, great food, and a perfect spot to focus. But I was disappointed to find they’ve turned off the WiFi. It’s still a lovely place to unplug, but not ideal if you need to get work done online.

I just happened to stop by this town accidentally and it was so worth it! A very cute cafe and lovely experience. Very friendly staff they weren’t too upset I was coming in just as they were closing. Although a bit spenny it’s so worth it. Gulped my smoothie down so fast I wish I got two.

We’ve been coming to HB for years and The Source is one of the highlights we look forward to when we stay; it feels like home by now. I love health-conscious eateries with high quality ingredients and The Source is exactly that. Quality and vibe has not degraded one bit over the years and I look forward to many more meals here.

Quite pleasant cafe with tasty and healthy options. I had the coffee with coconut oil and MCT oil and a chicken panini. Small seating area was plenty for my friends and I. They had a clean restroom and water for all guests. Recommend!
One of the only places you can get a fresh juice in Hermosa Beach. However be prepared to pay $15 for something smaller you could get at a whole foods for $9. I'm not sure if I understand exactly how people want us to support a small business. Overall, this is a trendy spot for people who think they are eating health consciously.

On August 8, 2024, between 2:20 and 3:00 PM, I stopped by during lunch to grab a hot sandwich and coffee to-go. Despite being the only customer in the store, I waited for 20-30 minutes and eventually had to remind the staff about my order. During that time, three employees were chatting behind the counter while my food sat out of reach. By the time I finally received it, the sandwich was cold.
To make matters worse, the server, who claimed herself as "Abbie" (though the receipt showed "Emily C"), showed no concern or apology. Her dismissive attitude led me to request a refund. Instead of receiving a refund receipt, I was given a receipt showing a charge. When I pointed this out, she insisted that the system doesn't provide probably of refunds and kept printing the same incorrect receipt over and over aggressively.
I'm left frustrated and uncertain if my charge was actually refunded. I wasted my lunch break and money.
