You don’t write because you want to say something, you write because you have something to say. Let’s begin this elite review. :D
The Source Cafe (est 2017) is a popular and fun little breakfast spot right on Pier Avenue in Hermosa Beach. It has a cool vibe, lots of fun things on the menu, healthy smoothies, and baked pastries. Interior design and layout were brilliant with abundant natural light.
We came on an early weekend morning to grab breakfast; it was my first time at this cafe. I was warmly greeted by a male staff with a smile. I ordered an iced coffee and avocado toast. Both items were solid. Breakfast AT was delightful and healthy.
Services were spot on. Prices were fair for the area. Plenty of street metered parking.
Overall, this cafe is a good spot for breakfast. I recommend it.

Love the fresh healthy options here, my favorite was the turkey panini. Walked here directly from the scalp spa and it made for an amazing relaxing healthy vacation day!!!

I haven’t come here in two years because of the awful service. I needed a quick iced coffee today so gave them another chance. Awful! Never again. Girl takes my name for the coffee order and proceeds to play on her tik tok and leave me waiting for 30 minutes until I finally ask if my order is ready. And she replies oh ya it’s here and proceeds to cough and sneeze all over.
Not sure how they stay in business.

I used to love studying at Source Café during my student years — cozy vibes, great food, and a perfect spot to focus. But I was disappointed to find they’ve turned off the WiFi. It’s still a lovely place to unplug, but not ideal if you need to get work done online.
They have the best dirty chai!
Fire smoothies and beats
Great cafe in Hermosa Beach. Watch out that you don't get a ticket for parking on the st. Thile police got more aggressive in ticketing.
I just happened to stop by this town accidentally and it was so worth it!
A very cute cafe and lovely experience. Very friendly staff they weren’t too upset I was coming in just as they were closing. Although a bit spenny it’s so worth it. Gulped my smoothie down so fast I wish I got two.
We’ve been coming to HB for years and The Source is one of the highlights we look forward to when we stay; it feels like home by now. I love health-conscious eateries with high quality ingredients and The Source is exactly that. Quality and vibe has not degraded one bit over the years and I look forward to many more meals here.
great spot to chill out and the food they serve is fresh and tasty

Mouthwatering deliciousness - the food the drinks - amazing. And the staff take this place from a local cafe to a place that feels like home. May love yo Hermosa just to stop in more often!
Underwhelming
Quite pleasant cafe with tasty and healthy options. I had the coffee with coconut oil and MCT oil and a chicken panini. Small seating area was plenty for my friends and I. They had a clean restroom and water for all guests. Recommend!
One of the only places you can get a fresh juice in Hermosa Beach. However be prepared to pay $15 for something smaller you could get at a whole foods for $9. I'm not sure if I understand exactly how people want us to support a small business. Overall, this is a trendy spot for people who think they are eating health consciously.
The worst latte I’ve ever had - not sure what happened but coffee was horrible and it was $8
