Easily one of the best places in South Bay. Phenomenal food, awesome staff, cool atmosphere, and some great live music at times. This has quickly become our favorite spot in Hermosa.

Sorry for the bad review, but I made a reservation on OpenTable for the Stanton HB for last Friday night only to find out that the restaurant was closed entirely this past week. And I found this out only after going to the restaurant at the time of my reservation. I am not sure who is at fault here - Stanton HB or OpenTable - but this was disappointing and left us having to scramble to find a place to eat on a busy Friday night.

I look forward to a better review when they are actually open! This was annoying. Made the reservation over a week in advance for 4 for Sunday brunch for 130pm - two of which had driven 45 minutes to meet us for the brunch I had arranged. Got there to find the restaurant closed as in shut with a sign saying closed this week but get ready for some exciting news. I'd guaranteed the reservation with a credit card and the day before had confirmed here. So clearly no one from the restaurant bothered to call reservations and say we're closed. We walked down the street and were lucky enough to get into Ryla for a great brunch so the afternoon wasn't a loss.

I am lucky to live very close to the Stanton and walk there regularly. While they are fantastic for a random Tuesday night dinner and have plenty of fish and vegetarian options (omg, the meatballs!), it’s in the special occasions where they truly shine. I had friends in town who decided to surprise us all with an engagement! The Stanton opened their doors to us and made sure everything was incredible, even though it was relatively last minute. The owner Jason and server Matthew will go out of their way to make sure that your experience is second to none, and it’s all driven by their empathy and love of this community. I can’t recommend The Stanton enough!

Excellent service. Excellent food. The grilled shrimp salad took me back to Italy. Perfectly charred. Branzino perfection. Best cocktail. Mezcal Negroni. Must try. Our only complaint. TV on in dining room. Environment a bit sterile.

What a nice restaurant. The food was excellent, the service was wonderful and the cost was more than fair. I was looking for a “healthy” menu as I've several friends that enjoy foods other than red meat. While I ordered their Rib Eye others enjoyed several dishes that were colorful and delicious. The owner came out to say hello which was thoughtful and appreciated. Great place, highly recommended!

I enjoyed brunch on a Saturday morning. Our server, Alonzo, was very attentive and friendly. He kept the bottomless mimosas from running dry. I had lobster eggs Benedict, which were delish! We sat outside in super luxurious chairs. It was a fun brunch!
What a find! Great good. Great indoor/outdoor flow. Excellent service. Enough room for small groups and parties. The pasta dishes all had a unique twist. Great sampling of seafood across the menu with east coast sensibilities. Will be back soon.

I loved everything about this place! I ordered the butternut squash ravioli with lobster and it was to die for. The service was friendly with great timing. The craft cocktails were perfect. We will definitely be back! The only odd thing I noticed was the bottle pricing on the wine seemed very high versus the glass price which is not typical. But whatever, just order a glass I guess.

Greeting and service personable and professional. Outside dining comfortable. Starters of grilled uni oysters extraordinary and palourdes clams were flavorful and a greater value. Rib was plentiful tender and sides complimentary. Brandi is a large portion - all about the fish itself and free of over grilling and extraneous sauces or glazes Overall- fine dining with good value. Will be back next week to explore this “community” support dining establishment. Well done Ken
Very attentive staff... We initially walked in and there was a group party in the bar area. My date night walked in and immediately the manager approached us to see if we wanted to sit where it was more quiet. Sat is in next room where it was quieter. . Good service, good food, great place!

The Stanton is amazing! The food, the service, the ambience, the owner...everything was amazing! I came here for a PRIDE Kick-off event and it was beautiful to see a business be so welcoming, inclusive, and willing to lend their space for the event. You could feel the love in that room. As always, the food was BEYOND good. I got the lobster roll. If you haven't come here yet...do it ASAP.

I went to the Stanton for the Gender Outlaw screening during their special event, and even with a packed house Jason and Stacey made it seem like a family gathering. They are the most incredible owners/ hosts and their staff was brilliant. Drinks were delicious (I had a Paper Plane that was top notch) and the oysters were light and fresh. I will definitely be returning, especially for happy hour!

Excellent HH and Dinner last night! Cocktails are excellent, very nice selection of small vintners too. We tried a number of things, fresh seafood is amazing, preparation very good ?, all excellent - Will by back for sure. Our service - She was very sweet, and very helpful.
I would recommend to anybody. We had an awesome dinner. The staff are very friendly and are happy to be serving you. Not mention the food is great. We enjoyed our experience so much that we went back for brunch the next day!
