I had booked this place for myself and my family to have a reunion after quite some time. When we arrived to the door they told us they were preparing our table. Our reservation was for 7:30. 10 minutes later we were still standing outside the door. I asked what was happening and they said they were just preparing the table. We are patient people so we continued to wait.

However, after 25 minutes passed with no communication or hope of a table (that we had reserved)...

Great tiki bar right on Hermosa pier. It's a great spot for tiki cocktails and food. I had the octopus with hummus that was braised well and didn't have the rubbery texture at all. My friends enjoyed garlic noodles with chicken addon and the yuca fries with yuzu aioli was a table favorite.

The staff was very attentive and nice and helpful in suggestions. The tiki themed spot is neat and unique especially compared to the other venues on the pier. It...

We encountered very weird service here. I came here for my husbands birthday and we booked a booth for 8 people. We each had a cocktail and one person from our group was in the bathroom and our waiter came up and said we have too many drinks and he has to take back some or else he would get in trouble. He started to take one and we had to count for him to tell him every person there had one drink and our friend was in the bathroom. He then realized and left. Weird and made us...
