We stumbled here by accident and we are so glad we ended up staying to eat. I don't eat meat or dairy so I just ordered the Vegetarian without cheese, the chef (aka mom/owner) came out after seeing my order and asked if I wanted to sub out mayo for hummus (I LOVED THAT, I didn't even have to tell them about the mayo, GOOD LOOKING OUT MOM). My mom took me here for an omelet. We ordered "the Greco" and "the Mediterranean" . Both were a Delicious mix of flavors.This is a small family run cafe, since 1969. There are 6 indoor and 2 outdoor tables. The atmosphere is cozy, and quiet. At 10am, there was only one other customer, but by 11am four of the tables were occupied. $47 including tip, for two omelettes, bread, and a fruit plate within a block of Hermosa Beach.
Excellent food! Highly recommended! They serve breakfast all day so I was very happy to enjoy an omelette around lunch time. Great atmosphere and a few steps from the beach. Good portions and great homemade bread. Go check out Uncle Stavros!
