I'm pretty excited about this find. I've been wanting to check it out for a while now. Finally today we celebrated my wifes friends birthday. So we decided let's try something not so typical. Therefore, here we are. Conveniently located on the east side of the fifteen freeway, off of Main Street in Hesperia. I want to say thank you to the Dulce Canella staff for being friendly, and taking care of our sweet tooth. My wife tried the fried plantains, our friend had some churros, and I went with the deep fried Twinkies. See the pictures, and video I took. All of the items were beautifully prepared, and served piping hot. The bakery was nice and clean. Very decent size menu with plenty of selections from the deep fried treats. So many topping choices to personalize your selection. You can order Ice cream alongside your deep fried deliciousness. There's milkshakes, warm drinks, and lots of traditional Mexican treats. Such as Warm champurrado, and various types of fresh pondulce. Conchas, cookies, and breads. You just can't go wrong here. So if you're in the neighborhood, or a local to the high desert, maybe you're just traveling through. Stop in, and give this place a try. They absolutely won't disappoint. Again, thank you Dulce Canella Staff. We'll see you again soon.
Came in to try churros as I’ve never been in this store before and was excited to try something new. Not one employee even acknowledged me as I stood there trying to read the ridiculous electronic rotating menu board. It doesn’t give you enough time to even read the whole menu board before it rotates to other items on their menu so it was very frustrating. One male came up to the front counter, looked at me and proceeded to finish what he was doing by turning around and going back to the kitchen area without saying one word. A female employee was in the kitchen just standing there watching me with again no acknowledgment. So I turned around and went to Del Taco for their Churros which are the best Churros in my opinion. I’ll never go back to this restaurant. I’d give it no stars if I could.
I went in yesterday and ordered mini pancakes which weren’t on their menu. I only knew cause I searched it on google and was very disappointed with how small and dry the mini pancakes were. Almost payed 12$. 1$ extra for Nutella and asked for lechera, I couldn’t find the lechera anywhere. Not to mention how tiny they were and almost tasted like frozen pancakes. I ordered the ones with 18 and couldn’t believe the size of them and how 18 pancakes could fit in such a small container. Plus the employees kept screaming at each other in the back, mostly the girl, was originally gonna eat there but decided to go home and eat. Very unprofessional and not worth for the price you pay. At least not for the mini pancakes. I’m a girl and have a tiny hand so yes these are tiny
Love their churros. Staff is also kind and courteous.
Friendly, fresh, delicious. Yum!
Really nice gentleman greeted me when I came thru the door with a smile on his face. Ordered churros with fresh strawberries banana and nuts with drizzle of chocolate
I have a sweet tooth but also love my fruit 😊 and I was very happy with my food I just wished they had better packaging for to go orders. My food was giving to me in a open paper bowl container and put side to side with the other food in a bag ....uhhh it spilled and got mixed up so we just ate it out of the bag lol the lechera and cajeta was just everywhere but the flavor was there ❤️ oh I paid about 36.00 dollars 🤍
It stinks so bad in there, like by the cinnamon wall. It smelled like Dookey. I was just tryna enjoy my fried Oreos. 😭 Please fix your guys sewers. Much love though, God bless.
I recently visited Dulce Canella and ordered a few things. Their fried Oreos were absolutely delicious—crispy on the outside and warm on the inside. The fried plantains were perfectly sweet and the churros were coated with just the right amount of sugar. The cajeta sauce was my favorite —rich, creamy, and the perfect complement to the churros. Each bite was a treat, and the overall atmosphere was friendly and inviting. I can’t wait to come back and try their Frappuccinos next time. Highly recommend for anyone with a sweet tooth!
The churros were great, however the staff was rude and it took almost 30 minutes to get my order.

The best churros I've ever had! I've tried lots, and this is truly the best churro I've ever tasted. The outside is perfectly crisp, the inside just the right amount of soft. They're made fresh and with quality ingredients. They are made to order. Price was reasonable! Go get some churros!!
