In our opinion their pan dulce is way better than any other we've tried up here including the larger markets El super Cardenas Vallarta etc. I suggest you get here early before all the good ones are gone. Everything is fresh as well. They have a variety of other desserts and pastries as well. They even sell tamales.

I come here often and buy pan dulce and birote and get great food. I recently bought a cake and was disappointed by the taste of the cake, thinking it might be bad I took it back and explained to them what it tasted like, they were not hesitate to give me a full refund, however a manager suggested it was days since I bought the cake and she was not sure how I cared for the cake thus she would not give me a refund or another cake. She proceeded to state as a courtesy to the owner she would only give me 1/2 of what I paid. I say this to state I don't believe the cakes are as fresh as they let on. Any store bought or homemade box cake should last more than a few days. Poor customer service, rude management. You do what is necessary as a business to make it right!

The red velvet cake was a 4 star, good flavor, looked great, moist. In my opinion could have used more cocoa powder or chocolate for a richer taste. I make red velvet and I always add a little extra than what the recipe calls for. My niece's got the cake for their mom's, my sister's, bday. My sister will often bring pan dulce to family gatherings, its always delicious. Friday the 8th of Aug however, the pan dulce I got was dry. Whether it was a bad batch, day old, another baker that missed adding shortening, butter, or something else, they were dry. I sincerely hope it was a fluke because when my sister brings the pan dulce, it's perfect. I got 2 that looks like corn cob, 1 piggy and one that looks like one called novia, round with brown swirls. I don't like to dip my pan dulce in my coffee, but I had to. I will return to try again and will update my review if appropriate.

This place is really pricey prices on bread are and the workers always have attitude, they think they own the place If they wants the business to succeed, she seriously needs to change the way treats people. No matter how good the product is, a bad attitude will leave a worse taste than anything else.

The BEST tamales in the high desert! I'm picky when it comes to tamales and am rarely impressed but these and huge and the masa is always very moist. Sometimes they sell out early so if your going late in the day it might be smart to call ahead to make sure they still have what you want. Also their pastries are so good!
