I was visiting a friend who lives near Apple Valley and happened to stop by this sushi spot on the way home—and what a great find! The interior was super cozy and had a strong local vibe, like a place with lots of regulars. I thought we’d have to wait a while since it was a busy time, but the food came out surprisingly fast. Everything was fresh—from the Salmon sashimi to the variety of rolls and even the tempura. It was the perfect dinner!
The chef also recommended Echigo Koshihikari Beer, a light Japanese beer that was super easy to drink and paired really well with the meal. I’d definitely love to come back if I get the chance. A true local gem!
