“The reviews had me pumped up about the burrito. It was good but a little overly spicy for my taste. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here but it does a job with filling portions. I do feel the burrito could be a little bigger as I tasted a lot of tortilla. The California burrito was the better of the two burritos I tried but I really can't do that nacho cheese. I would give them another try but order something different. I heard the tacos de tripas are good. Overall this is a average taco truck. I'm coming from Merced and there is a lot of really great trucks there so it's why I rated this only 4 stars.“

“This place is my new go-to in the area. The salsa bar is on point! Good options for carnivores, omnivores, and herbivores alike. Used to go to El Agave nearby but they discontinued their self-serve salsa bar, so I will be coming back to Taqueria Riverbank instead - no question.“

“My husband and I love the owners! So friendly and hard workers too! The food amazing and comes out quickly. But is always fresh as heck! Love their asada nacho fries and chicken tacos, extra cilantro, extra limes on the side. Bomb. I drink lime water with mine and my husband gets a fruit punch Jarrito. I would recommend“

“BEST burritos ive had and so long where the chicken is actually NOT dry, Superrrr juicy and FAT burritos omggggg DELICIOUSSSS and the salsa sooooo good dudeeeee! Not to mention they actually gave me lime and jalapeño! “If I can say one thing about Authentic Street Taco (AST), it would be that THEY DELIVERED. Literally and figuratively. We absolutely over ordered and we could not be happier about it. AST was our end of the night caterer (Wedding on 12/21/24, for reference). We chose to have the food dropped off & set it up in buffet style. There were no unhappy guests & bonus, what we took home, we enjoyed the next night! As a matter of fact, we had some leftover quesadillas (don't know how that happened), so we froze them & later threw into an air fryer & OMG it was amazing. Needless to say, we HIGHLY recommend. Excellent food, excellent communication, & excellent service. Thank you, Authentic Street Taco!!“

We were told that Friday and Saturday evenings are especially popular, with dinner hours drawing a packed house. That alone speaks volumes about its reputation—so plan ahead if you're heading there on the weekend!“

“I know this is a taco truck and most people go for the Mexican food but this place has the best cheeseburgers in the area!! The burger and fries are amazing, and it definitely beats driving to Modesto or Turlock for a burger fix. I love this truck and would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area.“
