This was my 2nd time here at this Denny's, it was Carrows prior. 1st time here, 6 pm, was my friend's Birthday and She used Her Denny's APP to get a FREE Birthday Meal. i ordered the Sampler, $16. 2nd time here, 10 pm, i was craving Steak so i got the T-Bone Steak(13 oz) Meal, $20 with choice of ANY 2 sides, got the Salad and seasoned fries. Ordered the T-Bone steak medium rare, it came out medium well done. :( Figured the T-Bone steak 13 oz was a better deal than their Sirloin Steak 8 oz

I was so excited when this Denny's opened in the neighborhood. They were not very busy as there were about 6 other parties and plenty of staff. My family and I were seated by an older gentleman in a black shirt. After waiting for 20 minutes to be acknowledged, I watched a couple get seated, get their drinks ordered, and get their food ordered. At this point, I was over it and decided to order on the app- we stayed in the seats to see if they would even notice us... by 37 minutes of waiting, my online order was ready. I proceeded to the front, where I let a server know what the situation was as I asked for my order. She asked me who seated me, and as I described the man, she stated that was their MANAGER, ROBERTO... It was a good thing that I opened my sealed bag of food because we were missing 3 items and something was wrong..... after more waiting for them to correct my order and make the missing items, 50 minutes later we left HANGRY AND DISAPPOINTED. Horrible experience.

Came in at 11:44 pm on Tuesday 02/06 And ordered half nachos to go & this is how much chips I got , I asked if this was half an order ( bc ive ordered before ) & he said yes , I asked again this is for half an order he said yes , this is wild for 12.79 So barely any chips w/ a big bowl of cheese & meat

A lot of the locals, especially me, consider this dennys as Coco-Dennys. Because cocos once stood here. So I may be biased to this location, I do, however, feel that this Dennys feels more homely, very chill and relaxed. I love coming here during the evenings.It's hard to review a chain because, typically, the food will be the same. Now for me what matters next is the location, parking, service, and the feel of the restaurant. There is ample parking, and the location is in between the outskirts of Highland Park just before south Pasadena.The service is nice, it varies from time to time, but never horrible, just nice and good. I don't typically see large crowds except for federal holidays. All in all I love this location.If Dennys ever took a review and worked on it. Nore dessert Manu options would be nice.
