However, my issue is the music that gets played here, I am Black and most of times I’ve been buying here, I am the only Black person (staff included); however the last 3 times I was in there I was forced to hear the N word repeatedly via the shop played. ! I went to order coffee today at the highland park location, and I sat down on a bench to wait bc they were busy with other orders. I tried to be polite and wait until the staff were done. I sat down on the bench. They helped another DoorDash driver that came in after me. The barista didn’t say anything to me so I just waited. Then I finally asked if I could order she started making someone else’s drink. They said you can order anywhere at the counter in a bit of a Condescending tone, and I asked why she didn’t say anything. They was a little rude and told me I should have come up to the counter. I’m so confused by the interaction. It felt very rude. I have only had good customer service at this location before this time.
