I also had fried zucchini. I don't think I'm overstateing how good and fresh the food was. I'd eat there again today. They have a wide variety of good Mexican and American. “We patronized Pepper Steak restaurant recently for the first time. The food tasted authentic Mexican style. The food tasted just like my grandmother made it during my childhood years (and she is from Jalisco). My sister and mother also loved the food. We went a second time and we just loved the food. “I don't normally give five stars to every aspect unless it's really deserved, but we had a surprisingly delightful experience.

It didn't start out great - when we went to the hostess desk, she was being scolded by some guy who didn't get a free breakfast or a free meal or something free. I don't even know what it was, but he rattled the hostess to the point where she seemed to have a difficult time helping us once the guy left. In fact, a server had to help us and took us back to our table. We didn't have high hopes, but we were there and we were hungry.

Our server was just a sweetheart. She was quick and efficient. Our appetizer was the Mexican Street Corn dip and - oh yeah - it's just as delicious as it sounds. In the end, we were practically licking the bowl. My husband had a California Club sandwich, but I got the spaghetti and meatballs. I'm very picky about my spaghetti sauce - I don't like a bunch of fancy spices that compete with the sweetness of the tomato. Just give me a good, simple marinara. Well, they did. And it was spectacular. Flavorful, simple, and delicious. The meatballs were also amazing - cooked all the way through, no pink (which is just so gross and unappetizing), and they were very tasty.

I have to say that we really were pleasantly surprised by the meal. I'm going to go back for that spaghetti because it was just that good. If the restaurant manager reads this review, don't change a thing! It was perfect!

My mom said the sauce taster like it was from a jar, but I really liked it. The waiter was also nice. I didn't like the fact that the bar was in the middle of the building right with the tables because the people there were loud, but that's my only gripe.“

“Finally meet with friends at Finney’s here in Redlands, and it did not disappoint! For drinks, we tried the blueberry lemonades; so refreshing and perfectly balanced with the sugar rim.

For appetizers, we had the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls and buffalo cauliflower😋

And to top it all off, our entrees were the tri-tip tacos… and wow… bangin’! 🌮🔥 Every bite was perfection.
