This is our "home" del taco, so we go kind of often. Food is usually good. It's more of the service and times they open/close. I'm not fond of lol. Sometimes, they close up to 20 minutes earlier. Some employees are rude or moody, but most of the time, I'm happy with service.

First of all, this particular Highland location actually is a del taco imposter called Del CrapO .. like how Alberto’s tacos has various imposters too. how can you mess up a simple order taking over 10 minutes when ain’t a soul in the restaurant not a soul in the drive thru, Ordering online via Del yeah rewards ap should be fool proof right, it ain’t not at this place. They never are aware when online orders come in not until well after you were told to arrive. Once in awhile, Ok yeah whatever, but every time? Seriously Whatever, at least it will be hot and fresh , Del Yeah it’s so worth it.. right… no NOT HERENot before making you feel uncomfortable by first stating not receiving any online orders, making you second guess yourself for a second, I admit it happens, just to wait even longer for, what you’re assuming ,freshly preparing your simple order of 3 CRISPY CHICKEN HABANERO TACOS … instead you’re left disappointed by sending you with 3 OLD AND COLD grilled chicken tacos.

Arrived at the drive thru around 9:50pm and no one was there to take our order. It looked like the place was closed, which is odd as the hours of operation are till midnight. This was the second time this has happened to my friends and I at this location. Do not bother coming here at night.
The staff here clearly hate their job. As I'm at the drive thru window about to pay, the cashier walked off to the front counter and began taking a walk in order. It turned out to be rather complicated I guess cause it took about 5 minutes. Eventually she came back and ran my card and handed me the bag of food that was sitting there the whole time. She sneered at me as I drove away. I'll never go back to this store.

I recently had the pleasure of trying breakfast at Del Taco, and it was a fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with friendly service and a clean, inviting atmosphere. Came here for a large coffee and mini shake in drive through. Came to $5.31 I handed two $5 and got only cents back. I tried to inform the lady of her mistake but she said I gave her a 5 and an 1. Which I KNOW I only had two 5's in my wallet. But she wouldn't listen and now I am out $4 because she didn't want to check her register. I am so upset. Never will come here again. Lost a loyal customer.
