Great prices on cheese. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere. The cheese pie is spot on. Beautiful scenery. If you need to stop this place will not disappoint. Can even picnic outside or dine inside. They even have ice cream. It's worth the stop. I will be returning.
Got here for 11 appointment. 4 hours later still waiting..

Very open parking, super fast loading. I was in and out of this facility in 30 minutes. 17 minutes for loading.

Very nice charm day
Small quaint visitor center. They sold their own cheese and other popular cheese brands. They also have food items but we didn't try any. The upstairs exhibit was informative, and there is a window to look through to the actual factory.
I probably will not return given the distance from the freeway, but if you were nearby for some reason, it is a fun place to stop (bathrooms were very clean!) for a grub or souvenirs.
My family and I always have an enjoyable experience at Hilmar Cheese. Everything they serve is very tasty and high quality food. The employees are friendly and the visitors center is beautiful,inside and out, spacious, well stocked with a good variety of pantry items and gifts for all ages. The ice cream making program is always popular. You can't go wrong stopping by, they offer a lot.
To say I'm in love with the Brown Cow Milkshake would be an understatement. The cheese soup is also amazing. I'm glad I don't live close, or I'd be here every day for a milkshake, no joke!
