Wonderful little shop that we will drive to every once in a while! (We live about half an hour away) They have Portuguese pastries and a cute sitting area! I enjoy stopping in for a Queijadas and Sumol!! I also go here for many random Portuguese style grocery items such as pimenta moida, Milhafre dos Açores Butter( the best butter ever), and portuguese olive oil. Their sweet bread is delicious as well! They have Portuguese fish also and I plan to buy some one day to learn to make ot myself.
Too bad there is never any bread available
Everything is made fresh daily the owners daughter now runs the bakery, very sweet and helpful, got everything i was looking for and goodies that I didn't know they carried. Got all of my portuguese goodies all in one place ♥️

This place has great bread I love this place but it’s hard to get sweet bread because they never make enough. The lady that attends the place is not friendly.

Very excellent bread
Pricey but good selection.
I love it
Never a good experience, We live in an other town and when we pass by Hilmar we try to get bread but Maria the owner always acts wired! Not sure but I think she's racist or likes to discriminate people.

The best Portuguese bread
Love the cornbread
Those dinner rolls are addicting they are so yummy! I bet everything is delicious, but their dinner rolls are uniquely fabulous. Tender, slightly denser and more generous than a Parker House roll, they are great fora Sunday dinner... Then make a fried egg sandwich with them the next morning! Yummmmmm!
I didn’t catch her name, but we went there yesterday in search of Sao Jorge cheese and unfortunately they didn’t have any. The lady said to come back tomorrow 3/26 and they would have more. We were on our way out of California headed back to Idaho, but decided screw it we can stay another night. We got there at 7:45am and not even 3 steps into the door she recognized me and asked if I was the one that asked about the cheese! I love this place. This is the 3rd time going there and I always feel welcome and right at home. Thank you for the delicious goods! ❤️
