Javi’s has been in Hilmar for 20 plus years. I moved away 19 years ago and was back in town for a visit with my dad so we decided to go out to dinner. The best compliment I can give a restaurant is not just that the service and food are good but most importantly that the experience is consistent. After 20 years I can say it was just as good as it was 20 years ago when I lived in Hilmar.
Last time the food portions were very small and overpriced. Nice atmosphere in the bar area and waitresses were very nice. Five people in our group and all our food came out plate by plate. I was last one served about 10-15 mins after first plate came out. Not very pleasant waiting that long.
We hadn't been here in a few years. So glad I tried them today. The food was fresh, hot and so delicious. The waitress was extremely friendly and joyful. We will most definitely be back soon.
