Donut Avenue in Holtville, CA, is a local favorite that blends classic donut shop vibes with a surprising twist of Mexican-inspired eats. Tucked at 583 Pine Ave, it’s a cozy spot where you can grab a fresh donut—think fluffy, sweet perfection—or dive into hearty options like asada fries, breakfast burritos, or menudo. The donuts get solid praise for their taste and variety, often paired with a good cup of coffee or an Arnold Palmer that hits the spot. Portions are generous, and the prices won’t break the bank, making it a go-to for both quick bites and satisfying meals.
The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, with a nostalgic charm that locals love, though some note the place could use a bit more cleaning attention. Service is a mixed bag—most times it’s friendly and quick, but there’s the occasional hiccup with order mix-ups or staff rushing you along during busy moments. Still, the food’s freshness and the unique menu keep people coming back, especially if you’re in town near the hot springs. It’s not fancy, but it’s real, and for Holtville’s limited dining scene, Donut Avenue stands out as a tasty, practical pick.
They were literally rude we walked just in to think what we were gonna order but they got mad that we took so long the bathrooms are a mess the tables are disgusting we asked for cheese fries but the cheese wasn't even melted I don't how this place is in business

Small burrito not even full. Not worth the price
Was open at 3 am when I came to buy water when 7/11 was closed. Also, I got given a lottery ticket worth 6 dollars by a stranger, so I somehow earned money while eating here?? (water was only 2$) 10/10 their donuts slap and their sister location is also good.

The food is pretty standard but atleast they have a big selection, although most people normally just buy the cheese fries. Donuts/mexican breads are okay.

Good food, even if it is fast, very good flavor, fair prices
As a truck driver, a place to buy food to be open 24/7 is a plus. Place is well kept, clean and the smell/sight of doughnuts/pan dulce had my mouth watering from the moment I entered the establishment. I showed up around 10:30 pm and ordered two items. Cashier was very respectful and patient as it was my first time visiting the place. I ordered the Breakfast burrito-Supreme and a Carne Asada Burrito and both were very delicious and filling. After I complete my delivery tomorrow morning here in Holtville, I might return and try out their doughnuts and other items on the menu.
I ordered a cake, it came with roast beef but it looked like I was biting into a piece of bicycle tire, it came with a lot of leather.
